I was not able to do any activities during GW, but I went to Seseri in Saiin.
The main store seems to be in Yoshida, but it was recently opened and the store is beautiful.
The first bottle was Shichida Oorigarami!
I may have never had Shichida before 🤔The taste is not dry, it has a gentle sweet and sour taste with a hint of green apple 🍏.
It's very easy to drink - I would love to have a bottle at home!
The seseri here was delicious but I forgot to take a picture 😭
Thanks for the treat 😋.
Hi Ofuji-san, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I see you had a busy GW, thank you for your time 🙇.
This restaurant was new to me too, so I looked it up on the food log, and it's a yakitori restaurant that will stick with sake and Sapporo Beer lovers 🥰.
Hi Ofuji-san 🐦.
Is this a yakitori restaurant where seseri is the main dish? I've never heard of it 😳I like the fact that they have shichida origami 👍I'd love to stop by if I ever go to Saiin 😁.
My favorite Shichida: ❤️
Nothing more to say: ❗️
Safe sake, and Aizan😋.
It's awesome‼️
Thank you to the master brewer and all the people involved, as always 😊.
The aroma is mild & mildly fruity. It is a little bit ladylike, but...
The taste is rich and sweet with the umami of rice! However, the tangy acidity of the sake makes it not too dull.
The aftertaste disappears quickly and is very crisp. It is like a storm of deliciousness passing by.
It's so good!
I was impressed by the fact that the rice is low-polished, yet there is no harsh taste, and only the deliciousness of the rice can be extracted.
Thank you again.
Here are some extras.
It is interesting to note that many of Shichida's labels match the color of the label with the taste and aroma impression.
According to the official label, the purple label this time "smells like ripe grapes. The green Junmai Oorigarami "smells like green apples," and the scarlet-toned 70% polished Shunyo "has an aroma reminiscent of lychee and grapefruit.
I have a very strong assumption that the aroma is like that! I drink sake thinking that it smells like lychee or grapefruit. So I envy sommeliers who can sense the true flavor of sake...
Drinking at home. The aroma of this wine is very strong, and when you take a sip, the sweetness spreads, and the slightly carbonated freshness, acidity, and umami rush over you. My wife says it smells like lychee. I see.
The aroma of melon cream soda is very pleasant, just like the color of the bottle. Even the hint of aroma has a hint of melon.
The taste is not too sweet, with a crisp acidity and creamy umami, which disappears with a crisp and bitter taste. It went well with chicken or pork or something. ☺️ It was an impressive bottle with fine bubbles and soft umami.
The other day at the liquor store I had a non-origarami Shichida that was also delicious, so next time get a clear sake 😁.
Hi, studying 😃.
If the color of this bottle travel and the aroma is 🍈, it's already a crisp adult melon soda 🤗I don't think I've ever had it before, Nanada 🤔.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌃I think you already have the right image 😁There are many kinds of sake from Saga and they are delicious 😃If you have a chance, please do not hesitate to buy one: ☺️
