A rare type for Mr. Shichida.
Its name is SUSHIDA😁 to go with fish.
Now, how does it taste? The aroma is like Shichida's, but the sweetness of the rice is... well, you can feel it, but it's a refreshing sweetness. The lingering taste is like a smooth cut off 😍I personally like it very much.
You can tell it's made to be sharp and clear and dry. Unfortunately, there was no sushi.
Made with Kinjiki Omachi. By not shaving too much Omachi and serving it unfiltered, the sake asserts the deliciousness of the rice.
On the palate, the sweetness comes first, followed immediately by a strong alcohol taste. It remains in the mouth and disappears leaving a bitter taste. After that, it is slightly sweet and has a nice sharpness. It is probably best drunk as a mealtime sake.
Today I bought Shichida for the first time.
I didn't smell or taste much of its characteristics due to a cold.
But it was refreshing and easy to drink.
It was kind of frustrating, so I'll try it again when I'm feeling better.
I have been wanting to try Shichida for a long time.
It's so good!
Added to my favorite brands✨
Sashimi to go with it: whelk, bigeye tuna, and sea robin!
I got 300 bottles at the Hasegawa Sake Shop in the Yaesu underground shopping mall when I went to the city after a long time.
Continuing from the previous Kurosho Senjo, again, a slightly subdued tropical fruit aroma that does not go too far south, refreshing acidity, and freshness...! Oh, these are not Okinawan island bananas!
I am also into Okinawan cuisine and have been drinking a lot of Awamori along with Japanese Sake recently. It is delicious.
(I will be careful not to drink too much...)
