I saw your post on my timeline and wanted to try it. I went to Obuse, so I bought some....
Delicious!
Easy to drink, a little bitter? It has a firm taste too.
I was getting drunk, so I just gulped it down...
It is thanks to everyone at Sake-no-wa that I was able to encounter this delicious sake.

Arrive at Obuse station for the turnaround.
The train stops here for 30 minutes.
First stop on the turnaround is Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki
The aroma is the best so far!
Sake that leaves a little acidity and goes down smoothly.
But it does not disappear neatly, and is not too refreshing for a Yamadanishiki sake.
It doesn't have the Junmai Daiginjo character, but it is delicious with mellowness.
Now, I'm getting drunk!

It's getting to be a pain in the ass as I have to move around the shaky car to get it poured!
Hokushinryu Kinmon-nishiki
I think Kinmon-nishiki's presence has waned since Yamae-nishiki came out, but I think it was produced only in Kijimadaira? However, it is a rare sake rice produced only in Kijimadaira, so it is still used in the lines that put a lot of effort into it (maybe).
It is a dry sake with moderate acidity and a low sweetness!
It is a dry sake with moderate acidity and low sweetness, and its sharpness is good during a meal.
Delicious!

This one seems to be a limited edition sake from the less familiar Hokushin style, Akagane.
It has a dry impression with a crisp acidity and a lingering aftertaste rather than a sharp taste.
Delicious too!
☀️
We had to wait for the Shinkansen at Nagano station, and since it was a good opportunity, we went to a standing bar that Ane-san often goes to.
After a light drink, the master recommended this drink. Here is a comparison of Hokushin-style drinks 🍶.
The junmai daiginjo on the far left was sweet and tasty, with a well-rounded aroma.
The special junmai in the middle was crisp and tight 😅.
I think Hokushinryu is a good enough sake, but I heard that they are a perverted sake brewery that usually serves more matured sake... this is not enough for them.
I'd like to try the perverted version.
I'd like to try the perverted version. I'm afraid to try it 😆.
The soba noodles we had for lunch were delicious 😊.
Hello 💫.
I recently saw the photos💫 but in a different order🤔I wonder if different people recommend different things.
It's a very nice restaurant if you get along with the owner. Please come again when you are in Nagano 🎶.
Ane-san, good evening 🌙
You had the Hokushin style up 😆.
We had a lot of Nagano sake and moderate conversation, so if I have a chance to visit Nagano, I'll stop by again 😆.
🏞️
how do you do?
I have to come back next week because work is not going well at all 😢.
That's it, we are going out for a drink.
The first party was at a yakitori restaurant that I wanted to go to. The yakitori is delicious, but the sake is expensive, so I had one beer and three gos of sake (Takizawa, Mizuo, and Sakunohana).
The next party was at my usual bar, where I was told that there were no customers even though it was the season for welcome and farewell parties. He said that although there are many tourists, the normal number of people has not returned yet.
Since it is known that I like to compare drinks, I tried the Hokushin-ryu that was left over after the event.
I had the special junmai, junmai daiginjo, and junmai ginjo in that order, and I preferred the junmai ginjo 😊.
I also drank some Sawanohana and Toyoka and went back to the hotel in a good mood and fell asleep 🤣.
I'm like this, so hotels must have a big bath that you can go in early in the morning😅.
☀️
100% Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture🌾.
I thought it's been a while since I've had a Miyamanishiki Nagano sake 😄.
It has a delicious rice flavor and a sweetness reminiscent of walnuts.
I thought it was not too sweet for Miyamanishiki 🤔.
I think it's a bit astringent in the aftertaste.
I have the impression that it's a dry type of sake with a good astringent taste.
Another new sake experience 🤩.
Hi Hiro, good evening 😃
We had a Jun Dai of Kitashinryu Miyamanishiki a while ago 😋 and at the time I thought it was a bit peculiar 🤔 but maybe the astringency made me feel that way... I see what you mean about the dry taste with a good astringency!
Thanks for your comments, Jay & Nobby 😃.
I found the flavor and astringency to be the best for me 😄.
I looked at Jay & Nobby's post again and I see that the soba changes the taste. I can expect it to be a great food wine 😊.
🏞️
It has been a long time since I have been to Nagano.
Again, 2 nights and 3 days.
I thought it would be cold, but the daytime high was 20 degrees Celsius and warm 😊.
I had a full day of meetings that day and was talking with my senior who came with me about what to do at night, and it just so happened that the hotel where he was staying was above this one,
We came here again to have a drink standing up.
The place was packed today. I thought the owner had forgotten about me, but he remembered me 😊Well, I guess that makes an impact 😛.
A comparison of Hokushin style sake.
Junmai Nama Haraju, Junmai Haraju, Junmai Ginjo, and gradually getting drier and drier. If you drink them in this order, the spicier one feels a lot spicier. I preferred the first junmai-harakyu.
Good evening, Ane 😃.
We also had a Junmai Daiginjo from Hokushinryu last month 😋 It was a little bit peculiar and dry, a good food sake to go with the food 🤗.
I guess it's a way to drink with impact 💥😆.
Good morning, Choroki 😃.
You won't forget it, will you?
If I can't get into the store, I'll just buy some at a convenience store that sells Nagano sake and drink it 😆.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😁.
I've only had the Hokushin style outside of Nagano, so I'd like to taste it at home once 😋.
I want to taste it at home once 😋 "You never get drunk tongue-tied, do you?" I'm sure you've heard that before 😆.
I met this one at a liquor store in Chiba!
I had no prior knowledge of this brand 😅I remember shinsaku3 & Peckho drinking it 🤔I went with my vague memory and intuition 🤗.
So this is the first time I've met Hokushinryu ‼️ I've been to Obuse, which is famous for chestnuts🌰 when I lived in Nagano🧐.
I'll make love to you!
I don't really notice the aroma 😌.
When you take a sip, you think it's slightly sweet, but it has a slightly bitter taste 😒 like one of your relatives at a family gathering 🤔"It has a strange taste," was our first impression 🙂.
But when we paired it with soba noodles and sashimi, which were our accompaniments for the day, it was as if our ⁉️ relatives had returned 😆It evolved into a voluptuous flavor and acidity that complemented the meal 😙.
By the way, here's a story that happened to me after a weekend of back pain 😫.
I pulled my father out of the tub and sat him on the bath chair and was getting ready to wash his head when he kind of leaned over 😵 and seemed to pass out from the heat: 😵💫
I was in a hurry😱I laid him down in the bathtub and cared for him for a while and he came back to life😳.
I was so nervous and it was hard on my back 💦 to be alone in this situation 😫 but it was a good experience 🧐.
I'm glad you're ok~😮💨
Good evening, J&N-san. ☺️ I don't know why I had a bad back when I was in my 30s 🤣Thank you for helping your father with his bath 😌I know what it's like to be a caregiver, and it's really frustrating when you lose consciousness 😅I'm so glad everything's okay.
Jay & Nobby Good evening 😄The taste of sake is often different before and during a meal, isn't it? I'm glad nothing happened to your father, but I know how frustrating it can be.
Good evening Jay & Nobby 😃.
Thank you 😊
Yes, we got it in May 🍶.
You'll love Pheho's dry taste 🍶.
Thanks for all your hard work caring for her in the midst of back pain anxiety!
I'm so glad everything is ok.
I'm glad you remembered us and that Masamune ❤️ is a chic relative's otchan style transformation Masamune appeared on the scene ❗️ Sake tastes different with the addition of a little food or a change in temperature 🥰Wonder Masamune🤭.
Jay & Nobby, good evening😄I guess it must be a very unique drink if you both find it unusual 🧐Jay, helping your father with the bath, that situation must be very frustrating💦Please take care of yourself too💐.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby.
There are some sakes that are better as a food sake than on their own: ⤴️
I think that's one of the best things about sake, to be enjoyed with a meal ✨.
I'm sorry you had a hard time with your back pain. I'm glad everything is ok.
Jay & Nobby.
I'm so scared about your father's case. But you made a good assessment of the situation at the time: ☺️ Quicksilver. About alcohol, food matching makes such a difference 😳😳.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃Good to hear about your father.
I'm glad to hear about your father first, and I hope you take care of yourself too 🍶.
I had a good impression of matured sake when I drank it at a Nagano sake event before 😄.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
Sake not only complements the meal, but even changes its face depending on the meal... Sake is still a great drink😇.
I know that time with your father is a lot of work, but good luck 😇
Good evening, Mayuko!
I was really in a hurry at that moment💦and it made me more grateful to my sister for always taking care of me🥹I guess it's important to experience everything firsthand❗️Mayuko, thank you for your hard work as a caregiver😌.
Good evening, Sashu 😃.
Yes, I agree! I think the taste change with the meal is one of the ways to enjoy sake 🤗.
My father also had a big difference between during and after bathing 💦I'm really glad nothing happened to him 😮💨
Good evening shinsaku3😃.
I remember you were being raised in some kind of continuous 🤗 Yes, that's right! I couldn't say that because I had a bad back and passed out right away.
The next day I had weird muscle pain and couldn't stand up 😅.
Good evening, HinaHanaMama 😃.
Yes 🤔It felt like a peculiar drink for us 😅No really I was in a hurry 💦I'm glad you're back 😮💨 My back has recovered a lot and I can walk normally now 🤗.
Good evening, ma-ki-😃.
It! That's the best part ‼️ choice of entrée is important but it went well with the soba 😋.
Yes...I was desperate to forget my back pain😅
Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
I was on the edge of my seat when you said you were going home 😆 What's up with that? It's so easy to drink in food 😊 the bigger the swing, the more fun it is 😁.
Mr. Jay & Ms. Nobby
Hi there...
Hokushinryu... sounds like a school of swordsmanship😅.
Looks like you brought your chic relative's old man with you 🤣 these kind of drinking encounters are fun👍Next time, please get a chic old lady!
Hi Pon 😃
Thank you for picking up on the change of taste after returning Occhan 😄The more peculiar you are, the greater the swing of being there or not 🤗.
Miyamanishiki.
The last of the day.
The full-bodied sweetness and umami flavor is present from around the middle to the end of the bottle.
It is deep and full-bodied until the aftertaste.
