It was recommended by the manager at an izakaya in Karatsu City, so we had it. It was my first time to drink Nishi no Seki, but it was full of freshness and went very well with the squid from Yobuko.
Oita First sake.
Mellow flavor.
A refreshing taste.
It is an elegant sake that goes down well with the palate.
You can feel the goodness of handmade sake.
It has a sweet taste in the mouth,
It is easy to drink, but the alcohol comes in later.
But the alcohol comes afterwards. A little bitter.

The image of this sake is that of a standard Oita sake, the style of Yokozuna. The production volume is probably quite large, and I have an image that it is available at supermarkets in Oita Prefecture. I have not checked recently.
As the label says, it has a classic flavor. However, it is easy to drink with sweetness and no alcohol taste. Other comments mentioned something like "Shaoxing wine" or "slight banana," and that is exactly what it tastes like. It is a relaxing and easy to drink sake.
I think it would go well with strong dishes, such as Chinese food. Raising the temperature a little from room temperature will bring out its goodness even more. It is a good classic sake that is easy to drink.
