Hakurei was sold in the bargain section at the supermarket. I bought it by accident. It tasted clean and dry. It was a good purchase.

At the Hakurei Sake Brewery booth, we were allowed to compare the Vivid series. This is the best part of the tasting event😋. Blue, green, and red, all delicious and interesting. I had a short chat with the brewery owner as well, as I had visited there before. Personally, I prefer the sweet red.

This sake was given to us by a visitor to Kobayashi Sake Brewery in Niigata, which is famous for its signature Akita dog. It is slightly sweet and has a subtle rice flavor, and although it was made in December 2010, it does not have an aged feel and is refreshing and easy to drink. It has a slight peach and lactic acid flavor. I think it is one of the most delicious alcoholic sake.

Good evening, I'll have your first series of Shinrai ⚡️ from Hiroshima 🙌 Jinrai Junmai Senbon Nishiki Unfiltered Unrefined Nama Sake 2023BY✨ It's been a while since I've had a Senbon Nishiki sake. The aroma is mainly banana yogurt with floral nectar, greenish pear, acidity and alcohol, which I like very much. The sweetness and acidity of the banana yogurt spreads quickly in the mouth, followed by the bitterness and spiciness of the pure rice from the sake, making it so easy to drink without feeling the high alcohol content 😋😋😋😋. It's like drinking a higher alcohol Sentori Classic and I like it very much 😊.

Hiroshima's Shinrai is my favorite brand. I remember how surprised I was when I drank it for the first time. I thought it would be a "Shinsei" sake with a wooden cask for sake making, but it is not at all. But it's not at all. The yeast is different, of course. It tastes delicious. [First brand I've been able to drink in about 10 years👍] I got a bottle of Kiri-Tsukuba's light nigori nama-zake (unpasteurized sake) from a hometown tax payment. It is a popular brand that is consumed almost exclusively locally, but it appears that there was some new sake left from last year that will be shipped in December 2022. ✌️ Although it has been over a year, it has not lost much of its freshness with a slight effervescence, and on the other hand, it has a moderate calmness that is quite nice 😋. It has a sweetness, but the refreshing alcohol taste and crispness are the result of the aluzochu liqueur. Like last month's Onra, it's nice to be able to get a brand that is hard to find through hometown tax payment 😆.

Tonight, we have Kirizukuba Hatsushushibori Light Nigori from Urasato Shuzoten ✨ This one is popular with Ogawa yeast users. I was attracted by the combination of Ogawa yeast, Gohyakumangoku, and light nigori, so I bought it 😅. Let's start with the supernatant. It has a rich sweet aroma of muskmelon red flesh, which is typical of Ogawa yeast, and the taste is very delicious as if you bit into a whole muskmelon 😋 Also, although this sake is alky, there is no stinginess in the aftertaste at all, and the bitterness and spiciness show up and the balance is excellent 👍. The spiciness of the aftertaste is doubled when the lees are involved, making it a sake with a different expression. It is a fun sake 🤗.

At home. First time in Saitama. I couldn't find Saitama easily, so I searched by the name of the prefecture and finally found it. The aroma is grainy and nutty.
