Today we are going out for a drink. This izakaya is a rare izakaya where you can eat a lot of vegetables 😁The sashimi is also reasonably priced with sea bream and swordfish. They sell vegetables, so they have a large selection of vegetable-based soft drinks. They mainly have local Shizuoka sake, but they also have a lot of Omuraya sake from the famous Omuraya brewery, which is famous for Wakatake and Onna no Nyokase 🧐 This is the first time I've had anything from this brewery. Today's sake was Oni Otome. I was in the mood for a sweet sake. The flavor was full and spreading. It is delicious 😋. We had it with sashimi, tempura, and meat rolls!

This is a gift from a sake professional, a local sake from Nanada's place. It is quite precious as it is the first pressing... 🙏. The aroma is juicy fruity and red apple-like. The mouthfeel is supposed to be fresh, but it also has a mellow, umami-like sweetness that spreads out and is very drinkable 👌👌. As a lover of the four seasons, I quite like this type. ☺️ I've heard it tastes great warmed up, so I'm going to enjoy it 😋.

The eighth one is a storehouse of rocks. This is the first time for Iwanokura itself. I guess I don't even remember seeing it in a liquor store. From the name and the image on the label, I somehow imagined it to be light and dry, but when I tried it, it was completely different. This is a record of a sake tavern I stopped by when I was in Shibuya on a business trip. There was Wakakoma, which I had been interested in for a while, so we compared drinks by specifying the brand name. Wakakoma was a beautiful sake. It was comfortable to finish it easily without any sticking point. Kanemaru had a black and white label, which I preferred. The rice flavor was strong and distinct. Delicious! The red and white label had a strong smoky aroma, perhaps a wooden vat feeling, and it was hard to taste it as a sake. Next was Eiko Fuji no Hoshimatsuri. I saw it in the basement of Shibuya Tokyu, but did not buy it because of its high price. I drank one pot of it deliciously and appreciated it as I should have. The white malted rice of Sanzen Sakura was the best discovery of the day. The acidity comes first, but the umami comes soon after. It is really delicious. I think it is one of my favorite sake with acidity attack. I want to drink it again. The last sake is from Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. This sake is refreshing, but a little bit rich, and quite delicious. The sake sommelier's recommendations offer new discoveries. It was a good way to spend a Friday night.

It is made from Yamada-Nishiki, Omachi, and It is a limited-edition shipment of a well-balanced blend of Yamada-Nishiki, Omachi, and Dewa-Tsanbai junmai ginjo. It is a blend of Yamada Nishiki, Omachi, and Dewa Tsannin Junmai Ginjo in good balance. It is very thick, but has a nice sharpness. First time drinking this brand, we had it with my family 😁.
