I've known the name for a while, but this is my first time drinking it. The rice is 100% Shukumei. It's fruity at first, but at the end, it hits you hard. It was easier to drink Gohyakumangoku, a special junmai, but I thought it had a common taste and passed it up. This one has more character. It is fruity and dry.

First Fushimi sake after debuting at Sake-no-wa! It's been a while since we went to Kyoto, so we decided to buy a bottle of Fushimi sake. The first time I took it out of the refrigerator, I had the impression that it was too alcoholic to be good for me😑. However, as the temperature gets closer to room temperature, the sweetness increases and it's nice 😳 It's mellow and easy to drink like Fushimi sake. It's delicious! This is a sake that should not be chilled, but lukewarm heating might be good too🤔. I'm so glad I bought it in the end ☺️.

A fellow triathlete was at Daimaru in Kyoto, A triathlete friend of mine was at Daimaru in Kyoto and bought it on the recommendation of the clerk. He asked me to come over to his house to drink it 🍾. But I can say with certainty that it's not something you can just slurp down on a tired body, I'm sure it's not something you can just chug down 🤣. Best to drink it dry 😅.

First time drinking out in a while We started with Reijin 😆. It's called "Reijin Dry Goku" and it's as light and dry as you'd expect 🤗. As a lover of sweet and savory, I don't usually drink it, but it was perfect with the grilled meat I paired it with 🥰.

This is another favorite of mine, Yamama, this time an active junmai ginjo. The lid almost flew off! Close it immediately! I was so close... 5 minutes after opening the bottle, the taste is sweet and bitter with a strong bitterness and sparkling rice... I can't believe it's a sake anymore... delicious... and I can drink it again at 🙆♂️ as a food sake! I want to drink it again!

Finally, my most favorite grade of my most favorite brand. Purchased at the Uonuma Sake Brewery booth at the sake camp in March. Why do I go to the sake camp every year? To buy this, which is only available at the Sake no Jin, not anywhere else. I am glad I was able to buy it again this year. The aroma is like a new sake, with a burst of freshness. When you drink it, you feel the overwhelming umami and mild sweetness of Koshitanrei. The alcohol is not too strong, and it quickly passes through the mouth and finishes off. Of course, the freshness of the new sake is perfect. It has no modern elements, so it is a classic, but it is the supple alcohol and sharpness that distinguish it from other dry sake. Above all, it is the umami of Koshitanrei! This is the best! This is Niigata sake! I love it again this year.
