A trip to visit a brewery. We went to Kurikoma, the hometown of the person who helped us. We visited our favorite brewery, Senda Sake Brewery in Okutsuru Kurikoma Mt. According to the young master, even weak drinkers can be satisfied, so we bought this one. We will drink it from now on.

When I go to this liquor store, I can't stop looking at different things. There are both hi-seasoned and draft Morishima's Omachi and Yamadanishiki, and there are several Nozomis... In the end, I narrowed it down to one bottle and chose this one. This is the first time I drink Koshinohomare at home. As for the rice, some stores say they use Takananishiki and others say Koshikagura, but which is it? Fresh, gassy and fruity. Juicy, like apple or pineapple. I was surprised at how delicious it was.

Junmai-Ginjo sake with 50% polishing ratio This sake is brewed by blending Kyokai 1801 and the original ginjo yeast, Kyokai 901. It has a fruity, gorgeous aroma and a pleasant sweetness that spreads in the mouth. Delicious! The label is said to have been designed with a snowflake "Grandpa Sujimaki" of the famous mountain, Yoneyama, which announces the rice planting season in Kashiwazaki, on a label with a texture of textiles associated with the hemp and silk textiles that are famous in Echigo. Purchased at Ponshukan. It has a cute design that does not look like a cup of sake. The sake is brewed with four varieties of rice produced by four farmers in the Nishigama district, located in the far west of Niigata Prefecture. So that's what the grains of rice on the label mean. Junmai nama-shu YAMADANISHIKI 90 Rice polishing ratio 90%❗️ This is the challenge sake of Michiko Urasato, the female toji of Yui. Yamada Nishiki is brewed at 90% polishing ratio without polishing. The taste of the rice is rich and intense❗️, but there is a light fizzy feeling. There is also a little bit of orage mixed in. This is why it is milder and softer in the mouth than I expected. The aftertaste is refreshing. It's amazing. Michiko Urasato, Toji 💡. I had it with ginger yaki, and it was delicious. The sake and side dishes go well together😆. I've heard that if you let it sit for a few days, you'll get a different taste of the rice, so I stopped at halfway today. I heard it's also good at different temperatures.

[First brand I've been able to drink in about 10 years👍] I got a bottle of Kiri-Tsukuba's light nigori nama-zake (unpasteurized sake) from a hometown tax payment. It is a popular brand that is consumed almost exclusively locally, but it appears that there was some new sake left from last year that will be shipped in December 2022. ✌️ Although it has been over a year, it has not lost much of its freshness with a slight effervescence, and on the other hand, it has a moderate calmness that is quite nice 😋. It has a sweetness, but the refreshing alcohol taste and crispness are the result of the aluzochu liqueur. Like last month's Onra, it's nice to be able to get a brand that is hard to find through hometown tax payment 😆.

Tonight, we have Kirizukuba Hatsushushibori Light Nigori from Urasato Shuzoten ✨ This one is popular with Ogawa yeast users. I was attracted by the combination of Ogawa yeast, Gohyakumangoku, and light nigori, so I bought it 😅. Let's start with the supernatant. It has a rich sweet aroma of muskmelon red flesh, which is typical of Ogawa yeast, and the taste is very delicious as if you bit into a whole muskmelon 😋 Also, although this sake is alky, there is no stinginess in the aftertaste at all, and the bitterness and spiciness show up and the balance is excellent 👍.
