Miyagi Expedition Spoils of War Sendai Station Mutoya It is an easy-to-drink sake with a fruity aroma, a little sweetness and acidity, and no cloying taste. We enjoyed it with shime saba (mackerel) and shabu-shabu (swordfish) nabe. It is a delicious sake that goes well with tofu, leeks, mushrooms, marronnies, etc. while eating.

Mimasu Sake Shop When we asked for a good sake to warm up, we were offered several and chose this one. We enjoyed it with Higashi no Mono tuna sashimi and swordfish shabu shabu shabu. It is a dry, refreshing sake for a meal. Sake with a pleasant umami flavor that you never get tired of drinking. A good sake to pair with fish.

Hasegawa Sake Shop. Sweetness and intensity of Japanese fruitiness, with a touch of astringency. There is a tingling sensation at the end and a soft aftertaste. It is a polished sake, so there is no miscellaneous taste. We enjoyed it with grilled yellowtail kama with salt, grilled vegetables, and smoked beef tongue.

I heard that the shipment was low this year. I am grateful to be able to purchase it again. Good balance of sweetness, gasiness, and umami. We enjoyed it with squid rice, smoked herring, and yakitori. It is a delicious sake that goes well with strong-flavored side dishes such as aratame and pickled mackerel. I hope to be able to buy it again next year!

Purchased at Seicomart in Otaru This sake has a mild aroma, mild umami and a little bit of cemedine. It has a strong umami flavor. I enjoyed it with roast beef from Ichibo. It goes well with lean meat. Sake is also delicious in Hokkaido.

We enjoyed it with deep-fried tofu, miso soup, fried squid, and spicy lotus root. I appreciate the limited edition sake from the hanpukai because it is fun to find delicious sake.
