Paid tasting, a bit expensive at 400 yen, but the surprising ginjo aroma, muscat-like taste and gentle flavor were delicious. It was nice to see replicas of the display of colored papers of successive prime ministers pasted on the wall, showing their individuality. Purchased during a visit to a brewery in Saijo, Hiroshima. When the bottle was opened, it smelled a little like magic ink. It tastes sweet like white sugar and has a relaxing flavor. It was different from the tasting. It tastes good, but... On the second day, it tastes just like I tasted it at the brewery. It is delicious with well-balanced flavor 😊.

Saijo Sake Brewery Tour (2) Next stop was the Fukubito Sake Brewery! The brewery owner told us in detail not only about the sake but also about the local area 😊. The tasting was a paid tasting, and while the Shizuku-shu was fruity and easy to drink, it also had a refreshingly spicy taste that was delicious in this area! Himeama tastes great to my sweet tooth! I was also allowed to drink the brewing water! I wondered if it was distinctive because of its umami flavor, but it had a neutral taste with no peculiarities! The sake brewery street is also a sight to behold, with Nonta post boxes, manholes for sake breweries, and more🎶.

☀️ Saijo Sake Festival 2025🍶. There were two breweries serving sake in vessels just like last year 🤗. ⚫︎Fukubijin Speaking of Fukubijin, it is Masu sake. The taste is indescribable, with a relaxing sweetness mixed with the fragrance of the wooden barrels 😊. ⚫︎ Kamoizumi Kamoizumi is known for its bamboo sake 🎋. The sake is a refreshing type and easy to drink. However, I felt the alcohol was strong. Perhaps it is a regular sake with alcohol added 🤔. I didn't notice it last year, but I guess I've learned to recognize it over the past year 😏. I'm sure the good booze has helped my taste buds 🤣.

The fourth restaurant we visited in Saijo, Fukubito Shuzo. We were served Junmai Ginjo, which is probably a standard item. It was refreshing, slightly tasty, and slightly sweet. There are many beautiful sake in Japan. I have been trying to complete the list, yes. The brewery is located in the back of the sake brewery street, and the brewer was alone, perhaps because there were only a few visitors, or perhaps it was the wrong time of day. There was a space for display and explanation, and a quiet space for tasting and selling sake.

From the pretty pink bottle Sweet atmosphere Alcohol content 14%, Sake degree ➖16 Soft and gentle sweetness combined well with the acidity of white malted rice. Not too sweet, not too sharp, good for drinking slowly.

First time for Fukubito Purchased at an antenna store in Hiroshima Low al but somewhat classic with a dark honey-like sweetness. Tastier than I expected 😋. Like apple juice 🍎. It's refreshing and easy to drink. It's -16 on the alcohol scale, but I'm not sure it's as sweet as the numbers imply.
