Purchase from Okuhida Sake Brewery This sake brewery is within walking distance of Hida Kanayama Station. This time, they recommended to purchase by letter. I am a sucker for limited editions, so I bought it. The aroma is moderate and the taste is strong. It is dry with a clean aftertaste. I paired it with fried pork and cheese with tomato ketchup. Exposition. Okuhida Karaguchi Junmai : Karaguchi from Okuhida, Gifu Prefecture. I thought it would be okay to drink it as an atsukan. I didn't think it was the best flavor, but something about it reminded me of Gero Onsen, so I picked up a bottle. More review later.

Mellow I was also attracted to the crisp, clean taste of the "Tanrei" sake, but I bought this one. It is not too sweet and has a good balance of sake-like characteristics. I can't believe this is only made with rice!

This is a limited edition sake from the brewery open house held during Golden Week. I can't help but buy the limited edition sake. 💦. Well, this sake is made with Yamadanishiki from Hida and is a modern fruity sake. I guess it tastes more like first green than traditional Okuhida. It's delicious and super likable. 😋😋😋😋😋 The weather was perfect that day and it was great to drink sake with friends while surrounded by fresh greenery. 👍

I found it in the sake section of a supermarket I don't often visit. Encounters like this are why the Cup Sake Club members can't stop! As it is called "hometown sake," it was a good sake full of the deliciousness of water and rice. It was delicious!
