Although it's next door, I haven't had Osaka's sake yet. I was thinking of Akishika or Katanozakura for Osaka, but I found this one at AEON today while shopping. There is no outstanding sweetness or spiciness, but a well-balanced taste. It's a good sake for eating. When I paired it with yuba and fried eggplant with sesame oil, I felt like I could drink as much as I wanted 😋. Good sake in the neighborhood too👍.

Tonight, I'm posting my second bottle, this one I've been letting go for about 2 years to contrast with the first (Miyazumi Junmai Nigori Nama) 🍶. The first one has a fresh and fruity aroma like apples and a strong fizzy feeling. It has a full, sweet flavor and a crisp, refreshing taste, and is just as delicious as one would imagine 😍. It's been quite a while since I've had Nanpo, but I don't remember it ever being out of place and I think it's a good brand with a high level of quality 😁.

The first Minakata I've had in probably 3 years, given to me in a 300ml bottle ☺️The 4-pack bottle has a picture of Minakata Kumagusu and the brand story on it, but with 300ml there's no room for that... 😅. It has a thin banana 🍌 aroma with a slight tang of alcohol behind it. After a slightly sweet attack, the aftertaste is a good mix of bitterness, sourness and spiciness. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts quite long. It will go well with both meat and fish without any conflict. The quality of the sake is similar to Kido's Junmai Ginjo. Is it because it is a sake from Wakayama Prefecture?

Comparison of nigori sake (Wakayama's favorite nigori sake) Following Minakata, Chokyu ✌️ This is the fire-brewed version of the nigori sake we drank in February. I buy every bottle of Chokyu I see that I have never had before 😆. The first thing that surprised me when I drank it was that there was no fizziness at all 😲. The aroma is somewhat almond-like, and it's cloudy with a lot of orioles, so it's like diluted almond milk. But it also has a sourness to it, so I felt a bit unbalanced 🤔. I prefer nigori sake with a fizzy taste 😄.
