TENJOJI Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu 720ml Rice: Gohyakumangoku from Okuidumo, Tsuyahime from Shimane Rice polishing ratio 60 Alcohol 17%. This sake was bundled with the February hanpukai. Drinking Tenshuu makes me want to go to Izumo and eat soba noodles😃. The aroma of this one is very distinctive. It has a pleasant smoky aroma. I guess you could call it fragrance 😁.

Tenshitsu Haru no Tsuki Slightly sparkling Junmai Nigori Nama Shu 720ml Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 18%. I opened a bottle of Tenshitsu that was included in the February hanpukai. It has a very complex flavor. It is fresh but also has a bitter taste, gasiness, and a slight smokiness. It tastes like an adult. Interesting.

Open the bottle! 🌠 The sweet aroma of rice drifts faintly in the air😄. The first glass is a cold sake. Rich, soft, and robust. 😋 The second glass is lukewarm or hot ❗ The rice flavor is nice 😋 A little nostalgic, I️ surprisingly like the taste of Junmai sake🎶. Tonight I paired it with shabu shabu and it was a good match for the meat👍. I recommend drinking it warmed up with strong flavored food and cheese😄.

This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.

Rice used is unknown. According to the owner of the sake shop, the sake is aged for three years, but there is no strong sense of aging, and it is a dry junmai-shu with a good acidity. It is a dry junmai-shu with a lot of acidity. The sweetness that spreads fluently and the spicy astringency in the latter half are very unique. After a few days, it becomes more crisp and easy to drink. For my taste, I'd like to have more of a woody or smoky flavor. Either way, it's not a type that will appeal to everyone. The mainstay of this brewery is Yamahai brewing, so it will be interesting to see how peculiar it is.

It is a mellow, sweet sake, and you can sense the careful craftsmanship. Later I looked it up and found the word "Toyobai" 😳. I didn't realize it was so 😚.

Yamahai Junmai 🍶 Myo no Hana Ei Mie Prefecture pesticide-free Yamada Nishiki 🌾. Rather hard and dry. A little creamy on the back side. Spicy and sour. Last week, I met up with a local friend for the first time in two years and we went to Ueno Castle together! On the way home, I remembered that Moriki Sake Brewery, which brews Rumiko's sake, is located in Iga City, so I asked them to stop by 🙏.
