Jyuemon" by Toshimaya Shuzo, well-known for Yamori... it's a stone's throw away! Nakadori unfiltered raw sake, fresh and crisp... Hachitan-nishiki has a nice aroma... my favorite fruity flavor... and the mouthfeel... a good bitterness of sweetness and bitterness, followed by the sharpness of Hachitan-nishiki! It does not disappoint! I'm sure many people prefer this to Yamoru... I'm sipping it while grilling oysters... yummy!

Another brand of YAMAMORI Purchased at a supermarket near my house. It is a Hachitan-Nishiki, a specialty of Teshimaya, and the taste is almost the same as Yamori's. Yamori is my favorite brand, but I think I even like this one more than Yamori❗❗❗ Next time I buy it, I'd like to open the bottle at the same time as YAMORI and compare them properly 😆😆.

It's a good combination of matured and fresh 😚😊Mellow and calm with a good umami and a crisp acidity 😋. I don't know if it is suitable for today's suddenly cooler weather, but it was delicious . Souvenirs from Shinshin SY Among several souvenirs, I chose this one intuitively by looking at the label. He brought three four-packs of sake as a souvenir, which is a generous gesture for a business traveler who travels all over the country. I would never have been able to do such a thing with my own pocketbook. When I pour it into the cup, it is more yellow than I expected! Is this a matured type? The aroma is slightly fruity, but has a bitter, mature aroma. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, with a light sweetness and bitterness, and a moderate umami, but the maturing aroma in the aftertaste is unique. The light sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste are quite a tricky thing to pull off. This strange taste is not one of my favorites, but it is something that makes me want to drink it again. It reminds me of that strange feeling I had in junior high school when I used to prank cigarettes behind my back. It's a treat!

@Koriyama Iando After having a drink in Omiya, I got tired of going back to Tokyo, so I jumped on the 🚄 and went to Koriyama. I decided to have a quick bite in front of the station, but it was crowded everywhere, so I went to a new restaurant that I found. They have a good selection of local sake, and I chose "Yuri", which I had never had before, and it is from the same brewery as Aizu Nakasho! I heard that this sake is brewed by a mother and daughter who are both sake brewing technicians! It has a soft sweetness at first, but eventually it becomes slightly dry and pleasant to drink. It is very easy to drink, which is impressive and delicious.

This is a sake from my hometown - Echizen Ono (Ono City, Fukui Prefecture). It used to be sold at roadside stations, but I looked for it again on my return trip, but I didn't seem to see much of it in the city. I wondered if they are limiting the amount of brewing - or if they are just out of stock. This is the one I found in my parents' fridge. Cool and pungent. A cool spiciness, followed by a nice, clean rice flavor. Then, a strong wave of spiciness hits you. The spiciness swells up while accepting freshness, umami, and sweetness. The intense flavor is intoxicating. After all, Genpei is delicious. I found out that Genpei Shuzo went bankrupt last November, and the direct sales shop was closed. The story of the bankruptcy and revival of the brewery was also seen in the morning drama "Ranman," and I look forward to the time when I can experience the taste of Genpei again.
