The famous sake from Yoshino, Nara, Shojo no Oni👹san series❣️. The founder of Shugendo, Yakushokaku, was served by a couple of demons: the husband demon was Zendo Oni (the former demon) and the wife was Myodo Oni (the latter demon). This is the first time I bought a sake named after that Zendo Oni 😆. I was originally under the impression that Shoto was a fruity, easy-drinking sake, but this Zendo Oni is so rich and full-bodied that it is hard to believe it is a Jungin of Gohyakumangoku 😳. It has a nice melon feeling and a full-bodied flavor reminiscent of Tamagawa❣️. By the third day, the ripe fruit-like sweetness is added, and the unique flavor is irresistible 😇 I'm enjoying it chippy, chippy, chippy😇 All that crosses our path are demons 👹. But if it's demons like this, I want to see them again. I wonder if his wife will be the next demon (not my wife 😅)

I have always been curious about this sake. First, let's take a sip. Smells more like candy than fruit. Banana cake, lychee, yogurt, freshly baked pound cake, very ripe peaches. No sign of activity. Concentrated! Concentrated syrup. Tart on the tongue with a good sweetness, ripe fruit like pears, green apples, and some alcohol as when the fruit is quite ripe. Finishes with bitterness, acidity and sweetness and has a long finish. Good and amazing. Power. It's drinkable with a splash. Shake a few times to mix and drink. Rice, milky smell. The rice flavor, sweetness, and sourness of the rice spread out in a flash, and the doburoku, or doburoku, has a fruitiness that surrounds the main rice flavor, and the bitterness comes in and gives it a nice sharpness. The rice is almost completely melted, so it is smooth and refreshing. Delicious! A few days later, after shaking and mixing, it did not separate even after a few hours. Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`) The effect of oak barrels, or something quite close to whiskey, but the mellowness and acidity of sake is also alive! I know it's just my imagination, but I feel it's similar to the whiskey akashi. Of course, if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have thought so. I also had a bottle of Junmai Namae in the heated sake corner, but my memory is a little fuzzy on whether or not my brain was getting the alcohol when I got here! I do remember that it was meant to be heated, but that's about it.

The last sake we had at Kyoto Stand Kiyo Kiyo was "Toyoyo Junmai Dry Musou" by Mukai Shuzo, also from the Tango region. The rough and powerful label may represent the fishing scene in this area. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the umami flavor and the aroma of rice is crisp and full. Even though it is called "Dry Musou", it has a hint of sweetness, which makes it a delicious cup.
