#Funabori# A bit of a bad look 😅. Homemade sundubu jjigae with a side of homemade sundubu jjigae. We had this one. The sundubu jjigae was I kept the spiciness low so that my family could also enjoy it. I made the best use of the soup stock of shijimi clam. The sake does not have much rice flavor 🤔. Maybe because it is a ginjo sake. It is quite light.

Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`) The effect of oak barrels, or something quite close to whiskey, but the mellowness and acidity of sake is also alive! I know it's just my imagination, but I feel it's similar to the whiskey akashi. Of course, if I didn't know any better, I wouldn't have thought so. I also had a bottle of Junmai Namae in the heated sake corner, but my memory is a little fuzzy on whether or not my brain was getting the alcohol when I got here! I do remember that it was meant to be heated, but that's about it.

The famous sake from Yoshino, Nara, Shojo no Oni👹san series❣️. The founder of Shugendo, Yakushokaku, was served by a couple of demons: the husband demon was Zendo Oni (the former demon) and the wife was Myodo Oni (the latter demon). This is the first time I bought a sake named after that Zendo Oni 😆. I was originally under the impression that Shoto was a fruity, easy-drinking sake, but this Zendo Oni is so rich and full-bodied that it is hard to believe it is a Jungin of Gohyakumangoku 😳. It has a nice melon feeling and a full-bodied flavor reminiscent of Tamagawa❣️. The last sake we had at Kyoto Stand Kiyo Kiyo was "Toyoyo Junmai Dry Musou" by Mukai Shuzo, also from the Tango region. The rough and powerful label may represent the fishing scene in this area. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the umami flavor and the aroma of rice is crisp and full. Even though it is called "Dry Musou", it has a hint of sweetness, which makes it a delicious cup.
