Another bottle I bought at a liquor store I visited for the first time the other day. This is another one I've never seen before. Gohashi KUMA:N Yamahai Junmai Sake It seems that once a year, a limited number of distributors taste and purchase a sake made using a different method than that used for regular Gobashi. What is the English on the label? It is written in romaji. This sake is brewed with Kumamoto yeast. So the label design is a bear. I was told that this bear is a "Hashi-no-waguma," a bear with a bridge pattern on its chest. I really wanted to name the product "Kumamon," but due to adult circumstances, it became "Kumaan. It's a bit of a hardship, isn't it?" It said 🤣. This sake seems to be a pure Yamahai Junmai sake brewed with Kumamoto yeast and aged in ice for about a year. When I drank it, it was a bit peculiar? It has almost no sweetness or sourness? It has a taste that lingers on the tongue, The next day, the flavor comes out and it becomes more and more delicious? I feel it. I'm not sure what to expect 😋. It's a little different from yesterday. I also read on the internet that it is recommended to be served at room temperature or warmed up. Maybe I shouldn't have cooled it down so much.

Hi Pon 😊 No one reads this in a store 😆. I don't read them at home either. I bet there are interesting things written on snakes, turtles and other patterns too lol

The other day, my work at a customer's place ended in the morning, so I went to a liquor store near there for the first time. I decided to go to a different liquor store to get a bottle of something that was not available at my usual liquor store, I bought a bottle of Hirasen Maruhi Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo Limited Edition Betsuatsurai. The first sip has a sour taste! It also has sweetness! Sweet and sour, like apricots? But it's thick, but smooth. Usually Maruhi rice is 60% polished rice, but this one is supposedly 50%. Sake degree -15 degrees Acidity 3.4 ・・・ It's pretty good. It's sweet, but the acidity seems to balance it out. But it's so good! It just goes down so smoothly.

Nice to meet you, Takashi! I'm attracted to the words "limited edition bespoke" 🍶I've been wanting to drink Hiraizumi for a while now 🍶The color of the sake label and the faceted glass are so synchronized, it's beautiful✨.

Thank you very much, Aaru-Shu! Yes, when it says something like "limited edition", I buy it even though I think I'm being cheated lol. I might be tempted to drink the unique sweet and sour taste of this sake again too!

A while ago, when I went on a business trip to Gifu, I suddenly stopped by a kind of product exhibition. There, I found Ibigawa Sugihara Sake Brewery's sake from Imi. I don't often see Imi sake, but I wondered if they sell a lot of it. But it seems to be a small brewery, so maybe there aren't that many on the market? I thought about it and bought some anyway (I still don't know if it's easy to buy or hard to buy). One sip and..., This feeling, delicious 😋! I'm glad I bought it 🎉! I'm sure it's the same for Imi too (maybe? I'm sure...?) I can feel the sweetness of the rice, but it's not too sweet, it's a beautiful sake! Oh yeah, no sourness, Is that why? Like you can feel the taste of rice? But, this is a honjozo: al-soju? ..., does it taste that much like rice? A different taste? But rice? Well, whatever, it tastes good.

I was at a local liquor store that I frequent, and this one, sort of caught my eye. I don't recall ever seeing it (there were so many of them, most of which I haven't even drunk) Simple (simplified) label lol. I don't know if it's to show the lees inside or what, but...it emphasizes the oli and I can't help but notice it😳. Sugiyuu Junmai Namae Namae with Ori When you drink it, it's shwashy 🫧? Fresh type! Not strong acidity, a little unique sourness? Not too sweet for this type? But this is also a dangerous one that goes down slooooowly😜.

A gift from my wife's friend Sanuki Kuraudei My wife is from Kagawa Prefecture, so why is she giving me sake from Kagawa Prefecture? (No deep meaning, huh? lol) I was kind of curious about it, but since it was low in alcohol content and resembled adult Calpis, it had been low on my list of priorities. Claudie = Nigori sake... 🧐. Lactic acidic for sure. The sourness comes. The first sip, I drank too much and got a sour taste in my throat 😖 love it lol The sourness and sweetness is apricot-like? And because it's low in alcohol, you can't help but gobble it up! Dangerous because it feels like a soft drink ⚠️ I think the top clear is sharply acidic. When mixed with lees, it tastes complex and slightly bitter Gone in no time😝.

The other day at a liquor store near my client's office, I was curious about the Gozenshu "Omachi Trilogy". I'm not an omatist, but I'm curious 🧐. Among them, it has more lactobacilli! What does that mean? It's not Ramen Jiro, but it's "Mashimashi" 🤣. It's clear, but the flavor comes out step by step. I can feel the sourness, but it's not a fruity sourness, it's a lactobacillus type? I guess so... lol. On the other hand, it could be a little more yogurt-like. If I drink it after a day, I can feel the taste of rice more. The acidity is weaker? But it tastes good. Does it taste sweeter?

Jiyugaoka ④ last Ippongi This one is dry when you put it in your mouth! But I've eaten and drank a lot of things, so this is good, too! Actually, I had 3 or 4 more drinks, but I didn't have pictures or notes 😩. Well, I'm happy to say that the guests were more than happy with the food, drinks, and most importantly, the work we've done so far 👍.

Jiyugaoka 2 Next is also my first drink at Bunkajin liseur (actually my 4th drink 😆) Liseur" is a French word meaning "a close reader who deeply loves literature. I have an image of Kochi sake as sharp and dry or something like CEL-24, but it's a little different. It's like a beautiful sake with an accent of sourness. Delicious 😋.

Jiyugaoka 1) Yesterday, I had dinner for the first time with a customer I have known for more than 10 years. We went to a Japanese restaurant in Jiyugaoka, and I left both food and drinks to him. At first, the owner offered us one drink at a time because we don't drink a lot of sake. Saku-no-Hana (39-87), a sake I had never had before. Sake made with malic acid yeast. It has a soft sourness. It certainly tastes like apples. Shako and sea urchin were also delicious!

Local? Kanagawa Sake Setoichi Piihiyara (Setoichi has many unusual names?) Second sake from Seto Shuzo, this time with Yamada Nishiki and Kumamoto yeast Overall, refreshing. In this context, the acidity is very strong. Slight sweetness lingers on the tongue The website says it's "as lively as a festival band". I wouldn't go that far 😅. It's "a sake with a youthful vibrancy and bounce." I think that's what it means 🤔. At any rate, it's also delicious! It goes down smoothly 😋.

I'm going out to dinner with a client. As it was the Bon Festival, there were only a limited number of restaurants available, so I made a reservation on the Internet for a place that looked good. I was a little curious, so I asked my wife and my eldest son to visit the restaurant for a preview. Jusui Special Junmai I chose one I had never had before. Sake with a soft sweetness and a gentle feeling. The restaurant is not bad, but not the best place to go with guests. We cut off at a suitable place and went to research another restaurant.

When it's hot every day like this, I want to drink something refreshing. I want to drink Tosa Shiragiku Slightly Sparkling Nama for the first time Slightly carbonated in the mouth! Fresh acidity Overall softness Sweetness, acidity, and carbonation are gentle and delicate. I would say that the sweetness comes first. It's a slurpable one 😋, dangerous ⚠️

Last week, I visited a client in Ebisu and finished work early, so I went to a nearby liquor store. I've never had a drink at a place I don't usually go to. Wakanami When you drink it, you can feel the acidity, a little fresh sourness And some soft sweetness. Sweet and tasty? It's a little bit sweet and tasty, but it's very refreshing and goes down smoothly. It is well-balanced and delicious.

I'm going to Kaida Kogen in Nagano Prefecture with a group of high school classmates at the end of this month, and I don't know if I'll go, but I thought I'd preview a relatively nearby sake brewery, Nanasho. I took a sip and found it to be very rich in flavor! It's a raw sake, so it's not watered down. Alcohol 19 degrees Celsius. Strong umami flavor Taste lingers on the tongue at the end This one is quite tasty 😋Preferable It was also ◎ on the rocks, so I drank it on the rocks as well. It is delicious. It has a strong flavor, so it tastes sweet and tasty even when it's cold.

What kind of purple space dry? I can't imagine, so I bought it. The label is funny, too, with the bear breathing fire from its mouth, which is different from the usual image of Purple Space 😂. It's definitely a dry beer. It's a clear, light and refreshing taste, not sweet. I'm sure it's a little less sweet than the usual Purple Space, but in a way, it's appealing, I wonder if it would be less like purple space 🤔. In that sense, it's subtle. I think I can feel the taste when I drink the rest after 2 days after my business trip, Sweetness and sourness seems to have increased. I feel like this is a good taste 😋. I heard it was a gift from a Japanese lady called "Tiger of 2025" with kanpachi.

I was going to go buy it when I heard that the liquor store less than 30 minutes away by bicycle had the 4 kinds of Discovery Series of Kangiku in stock, but I couldn't make it to the store because of work 🫤. When I opened it, shpoom🎉! Fresh & juicy! Delicious 😋. Fresh, sour and sweet, It will be gone in a sloooooooooooooow 😜. Discovery Series explores the charms and possibilities of Chiba's rice! Really, you should compare the different types of rice. But the one I was most interested in, the rare 90% Koshihikari, was already sold out? It wasn't there.., I have a drinking party tomorrow, but I drank a lot today too😅.

Another souvenir from my wife's visit with my daughter and second son. Tenpoichi Rose Mind Which one do you like? I asked her to choose this one, which I had never had before. Rose yeast sake! It seems that the whole town of Fukuyama was promoting roses🌹. When I drank it, it was a bit unique! Is it my imagination? Is it rose-like? Not too much acidity, but it's there. Not sharp, but soft acidity. Sweetness is not fruity-fresh sweetness. But there is flavor. Is it my imagination, or is it the wine-like acidity, though it has a western feel? But no. It's hard to say what to say 😩. But I did enjoy it ✨

Sometimes I just want something refreshing 😙. Kouei Kiku Anastasia Green Named after a chrysanthemum called "Anastasia Green". When you open the bottle, it's like a whiff 🍾. Fruity acidity (lime-like?), slight bitterness Slight bitterness And gentle sweetness. The alcohol content is 13 degrees, and it goes down smoothly! This is also delicious 😋. In such a hot weather, sake is like beer, which is dangerous.

My wife went to visit my daughter and second son and brought back two bottles of sake. One bottle was the one she sent me a picture of and asked me which one of these I liked. I bought another bottle in addition to the one she asked me which one of these I liked! The Reaper. ☠️ This is,,, what kind of message? No way, if 😱. The sake, first of all, the color is dark, maybe the darkest I've ever had! When you drink it, you think it's sake, right? It's so unique! It's like Shaoxing sake? Strong sourness, suitable for Chinese food? (Sake has a lot of congratulatory names, so they decided to go against the trend.) I asked my wife why she chose this sake. I asked my wife why she chose this sake, She said it was a rare sake, but it is famous in Shimane, where our daughter lives, so she thought of sending it to her daughter on her birthday last time, but she didn't want to send a "Shinigami" on her birthday! So she thought of sending it for my daughter's birthday last time, but she decided to send it this time. I was a little relieved, but if I had really thought about it, I wouldn't have told her honestly. The bonus is a lemon-flavored Umaibo from the Setouchi area.
