The other day, on my way home from a customer's place, I got off at the transfer station and went to a liquor store I sometimes go to. I found something I've never had, something I'm a little curious about! 🧐 Okuroku A bit, 💦 shwashy in the mouth. Fresh! Sourness is there, how can I describe this sourness? Is it different from fruity? A bit peculiar? A touch of sweet and sour? But not too strong and fresh! On the second day, the sourness increases? But it's sweet and sour and refreshing! Delicious 😋.

On my way back from Gifu the other day, while waiting for my bullet train in Nagoya, I went to the sake department of Takashimaya. I was looking at some sake from the Tokai area, and I saw a beautiful cherry blossom-patterned bottle! I was curious about it! I bought a bottle of something I'd never had before... and went home! Fukii Mie sake! A little sweet in the first sip? Is it strong? That was my first impression. But when you drink it, you will feel it is very refreshing. It's the kind of sake that goes down smoothly. On the second day I feel the sweetness of the rice has increased Delicious 😋.

Hi Takashi 😃 That's a very nice bottle 🌸. This is the best spring sake 😆 I would love to use it as a vase when I'm done drinking 💐While the contents of sake are important, sometimes you want to buy it for its looks 🥰.

Hi HinaHanaMama 😊 Just like with people (lol), looks aren't everything, that's for sure, but looks are important too 🥰. I was on a business trip, but I couldn't miss this moment! and I wanted to bring them home 🤩.

Hi Takashi 🐦. I'm holding off on pink🩷 bottles this year, but this one looks like it's going to be love at first sight 😻 I love that the bottle matches the contents 😊. As if I want to meet you or not 😂.

I remember the last time I drank Miyaganbai, it was delicious 🤔. I knew there was a sake collaboration between my neighborhood liquor store and the Kanmei Brewery, but I put it off thinking I could always buy it. But it's plum season and I finally bought it (almost, coyly). Oyusaki Quartet I heard that the name "Uguisaki" is a play on Osaki, where the cold plum trees are located, or plum blossoms and bush warblers (Uguisu), and many other things! At first, you can taste a little sourness. It's just a little bit sour, but it's not too much. The sweetness is soft and lingers on the tongue. Maybe a little more refreshing than the Miyakanume I had before (not sure I remember that 😆). Fresh, fruity and a little different from the gentle sweetness of rice. It is also beautiful and delicious 😋. On the second day, it seems a little more sour. And sweetness too. As an added bonus, here's a picture of the plums

A while ago, on my way home from a lunchtime drink, I wandered into a liquor store. I was just going to have a look, but 、、、、 I was attracted by the spring-like atmosphere, so I bought it. When you're drunk, you're less cautious😆. Araodama SPRING BLESSING Spring Blessing Clear, soft sweetness, not too sweet. Delicious 😋. A little sourness, refreshing. With an old customer at Noge (2) I drank too much yesterday. A total of four old customers and I went drinking in Noge. One of them hadn't seen me in over 10 years? The first time we met was when she was still a new hire, fresh out of college. She joined us yesterday after going to see her child's soccer game! Time flies! The fourth and last restaurant of the day 🤣. This place was not supposed to be here, it's a dangerous all-you-can-drink sake bar 🍶 and it's also the 4th bar! We decided to drink as much as we could for 30 minutes to get a quick drink and go home! I wanted to try this! Souzora, first time to drink it! Taste of rice? I can feel the taste of rice. It's sweet, but it's refreshing. More rice sweetness than fruity? I think it was the first time I drank it, but my memory and even my record is doubtful after 4 houses😅. I also drank Kank Kangenbai+ and Yoru Mae, and I remember they were good, but my memory and record is hazy... I should have gone to at least the second restaurant 😆. I've learned my lesson. Yesterday I was in bed, asleep before I knew it, but this morning I was fine. Fuji was beautiful too!

With an old customer at Noge (1) When I met an old customer for the first time in a while last year, he told me he wanted to go to Noge. We talked about going to Noge for the first time in a long time last year, and it came true yesterday. First, we went to a sushi bar. The waiter asked us if it was our first time here (to explain the system). (I replied "Actually, this is the third time in the past two weeks" and she said "Yes, I've seen you before". Sake menu changes from time to time. I went to Akabu F NEWBORN, which wasn't there last time. I think this is the first time with F on it, Fresh as always! Delicious 😋. A little sourness in the sweetness. I had another drink, but cut out there because I was going to meet up with two more people at the next restaurant.

The other day, I bought a bottle of "Sanzen" at a liquor store less than 30 minutes away from my house by bicycle. I had never had it before, and was also attracted by the "Shiboritate Nama-nazake" (freshly pressed sake) 🤩, so I bought it! When I drank it, it was fresh! It was like a freshly squeezed nama-genshu (of course it was)! Yamadanishiki in Shiboritate Nama-Nishiki... I like it, it's good. Fresh but also rich! It has sweetness and a touch of rice! And there's acidity too. Delicious 😋. Something a little different from the name and what it looks like? (In a good way) I might buy it again if I find it. Yesterday morning, I went to go to the tennis wall-hitting by bike, but it was closed due to painting. Too bad😭. But there was not a cloud in the sky and I could see Mt. That's good 🤣.

Noge with family (2) My wife, my eldest son and I went to Noge, I'm not sure about the second round of drinks at Sushi Izakaya, I could drink a little more, but we started at 12:00 that day, and the second bar was already reserved for 2:00 p.m. 😅. And after that, I still have work to do back home, (can you do it?) 🤣 So this is my last sake I ended up with Kaze no Mori Alpha 1! The "door to the next chapter" ... cool! First time for the Alpha series. First comes the sourness😆. I think it's more sour than the previous Kaze no Mori (More than the same Akitsuho). Sake with a fresh feeling By the way, this place is cheap and tasty! The next place is not sake, but it's good too, Noge is interesting 🥳. I'll be back next week with another group.

Noge with family (1) The other day, I told my wife that I went to an interesting restaurant in Noge (with a high school classmate), and she wanted to go there, too. We went to a sushi bar, where we ate and drank a lot of food and sake. Today's sake was Matsumidori, from Kanagawa Prefecture. I've had "Ryo" from this brewery, but this was my first time to try "Matsumidori"! It was fresher than I expected when I drank it! Delicious 😋. A little fruity. Surprising (in a good way) given the image of fire-roasted! This is a limited edition, and they have a Ryo mark on the label where the letter "Ri" is! I'm sorry I haven't had it until now even though I'm from Kanagawa 🙇.

It looks kind of rare! I bought it at a liquor store near Okachimachi on my way home from visiting a customer's office. Himenoi calm Lactic acid bacteria sake mother Glutinous rice four-stage brewing Flat polished rice A traditional brewery that produces small quantities of sake and seems to be searching for new flavors. Fruity sweetness Sourness accentuates the fruity sweetness. Slightly shwashy. This is delicious 😋 I'll go for it 😝. But when you drink it, you might find it a little too sweet 🤔. Maybe try it on the rocks? This is good 🥳. I'm drinking more and more of it 🥳! I drank too much😝.

Souvenirs from my eldest son and his wife's New Year's holiday visit to his wife's family in Saga. Tanaka Rokugo from Fukuoka (already uploaded) and this Amabuki from Saga. I had never had Amabuki and wanted to try it, so it was perfect 🥳. I heard that there is a sake brewery quite close to her parents' house. When you drink it, you can feel the rice? Because it's Omachi? Strong umami, but clean. It's delicious 😋 and goes down smoothly. You can also taste the refreshing acidity. It's firm, but refreshing? It is 😆. I heard that rhododendron yeast tastes like banana, but I don't feel that much? (I'm not sure. My wife gave me some chocolate for Valentine's Day 🎁. I heard it has a high cocoa content and is good for people who care about their weight 😂.

When I mentioned in a comment on Gyve's 500 check-in that I had never had it and would like to try it, Gyve told me that he recommended the crimson raw sake for the current season, and I immediately checked several stores. Then, I found a store less than 30 minutes away by bicycle that had "the first shipment of this season" in their stock list, so I went to buy it right away and got it! (Maybe this is correct 😅) (I think I got it right 😅) I had to put the fridge in order, and between business trips and drinking out, the timing was right..., Hakugakusen Crimson Nama Shu (seems to be seasonal) Beautiful and cool bottle! When I opened it, I felt a little bit of a shupon! A clean, refreshing sake! It has a fresh taste, like freshly pressed sake, but it tastes dry, not sweet! It's a little interesting, but not too much. I like this perfect balance. I can't help but drink it smoothly 😋. On the second day, it tastes a little more sour. I like this not too sweet (not too sweet) freshness 🥳.

Noge with high school classmates ④. Rush to the second restaurant (as usual, we had to drink at the same place) Here, a slightly different type of sake, Momogawa Nigori Nigori-ish 😝 No wonder! Noge with high school classmates (1) Yesterday, three of my high school classmates and I went out for drinks at Noge, as is our tradition. We started at 12:00 p.m. and went to a sushi bar (izakaya) that claims to be "authentic in taste but popular in price. We had one beer, but I knew we'd be drinking sake 🍶 with the food! So we decided to go for sake, Takihama Shiboritate Junmai It was so fresh! Soft sweetness with a hint of sourness. First time drinking it, but it's delicious 😋. I opened my mouth and had it! My eldest son went to Kyushu, where his wife's family lives, for the first time during the year-end and New Year holidays (mainly in Saga). He asked me, "What kind of sake do you want to buy?" I thought it would be a bad idea to make my oldest son, who does not drink sake, search too much, so I decided to buy any sake from Saga. If it's not from Saga but from Fukuoka, I'll buy this one or this one. I told him which ones I was interested in and which ones I hadn't tried, and he bought me a bottle of Tanaka Rokuugo (plus one Saga sake). (plus a bottle of Saga sake, for a total of 2 bottles) First time drinking Tanaka Rokugo A little shwashy. Sweetness and acidity are gentle Fresh and delicious 😋. Tanaka" in the rice field of Yamadanishiki, "Rokuugo" with 65% polished rice, a punny but a bit plain name 🤣. But the sake is fresh and solidly delicious! Shinkansen from Shin-Yamaguchi (2) Shinkansen from Shin-Yamaguchi to Shin-Yokohama, the person next to me who got on from Okayama, Shin-Kobe, when I was anxious to drink. Do you see any improvement from the last time? 😝 (Last time I closed up store before arriving at Shin-Kobe) But I was a little hesitant to open another bottle, because I was worried about the person next to me... The person next to me was a McShake! But never mind, go ahead 😜. Next stop, Nagato Gorge. I stocked this yesterday at a liquor store near the station! It's a little bit thick and full-bodied. It has a strong taste, and although it has a bit of an "arosozome" feeling, it's nice! Today's items? Nagato Gorge Nama-Shu Honjozo Sugihime Junmai Ginjo Kirin Ichiban Shibori Kashiwa-meshi bento (actually Fukuoka 🤣) Ponzu (Japanese citrus juice) and onion slices! Shinkansen from Shin-Yamaguchi (1) Following last month, this time we took the izakaya shinkansen again, this time from Shin-Yamaguchi to Shin-Yokohama in 4 hours 😆. I was worried that the bullet train might stop due to snow, but it ran a little late! Based on the last time......., Prepare more drinks (last time we finished drinks and food before arriving at Shin-Kobe 😣) (Last time, we didn't have a glass, so we used one cup instead.) First time drinking sake "Sugihime". (I didn't have a glass last time, so I used a one-cup instead. I guess it's a light and dry type of sake. Slightly acidic, but you can taste a little sourness as you drink it. It goes well with strong foods (the onions and zuri served with ponzu are a bit too peppery 😝). But the cup is small 🍶 (for me) I have to pour it many times! Oops, there was someone sitting next to me in Okayama..., The restaurant is shrinking! It's not like on TV after all 😝.
