Oroku「超」★★★ 春季限定 無濾過 生原酒純米
62
TakashiMy daughter came back from Izumo, where she lives now, to attend a friend's wedding. At this timing, my eldest son, who lives in Tokyo, also came and joined my birthday party, though a little early. Everyone's presents were a messenger bag for my bicycle, an Edo faceted boar cup and two bottles of sake. The sake was Super-Oroku ★★★★ Spring Limited Edition. It seems to be a limited edition that is not sold very often even locally, so they went all the way to Yonago Takashimaya to buy it and shipped it to me via cool delivery. It is indeed written that it is limited to 360 bottles. When you put it in your mouth, you first feel a little sourness, then fruity sweetness. A fresh feeling sake. It feels fresh and soft, but at 17.5 degrees, it's a bit dangerous! Delicious 😋. Thanks guys!!!

ポンちゃんHappy (maybe early) birthday to Takashi 🎉🎂🎂! I'm glad you got a present for both the bike and the sake 🎁❣️ and your daughter came home with a rare sake 😊👍

TakashiThank you, Pon ✨ I mean the gift of bike related goods and alcohol, I think it probably means that I should exercise for all the booze I drank! I think that's what he means. lol

TakashiThank you Jay & Nobby ✨. I also eat and drink too much. And I ride my bike for exercise..., I'm going to a liquor store, lol.

Shuho中汲み 無濾過 生原酒 美山錦特別純米

TakashiThe other day, I was on my bike again, looking for a liquor store. (I'm not sure which is more important, cycling or shopping.) I went to this place for the first time, and they seemed to have a wide selection of sake. There were various kinds of sake that I had never tried before, but I chose Shuho, which had about 10 different kinds and was the one that they insisted on. Shuho Unfiltered Nama-nihon Sake Miyamanishiki It has a strong flavor, a little strong at 17%? Slightly sweet, with a slight shrieking taste. A little sourness too. I like it a lot, it's delicious. Serve with shabu-shabu (yellowtail)

TakashiI also biked to a liquor store I had never been to in my neighborhood. My first visit to a liquor store about 20 minutes away. I'm a little nervous (and excited) when I go to a new place for the first time. There are many kinds of sake, but I bought one that I have never had before because I was so excited. Kitajima Dry Taste Fully Fermented Slightly yellowish color As the name suggests, it is dry and light. It's good as a food sake. It is really refreshing when served cold. On this day (yesterday), I served it with oysters and bonito. This kind of sake is so crisp and refreshing when served cold that I wanted to try it at room temperature. At room temperature, you can feel the richness and flavor. Today, I had cheese dakkarbi...was cold sake good with this? Oh well, whatever! It's a junmai ginjo, but the aroma and fruity taste are not so strong. It seems to be fully fermented until the sugar is gone! This is fine!

TakashiMy wife went to visit our daughter and got this sake as a gift. My daughter moved to Izumo, Shimane, due to her husband's work. My wife went there to help her. Tenshitsu Junmai Daiginjo Sakonishiki First, drink it cold. It is dry, refreshing, and has a slight rice flavor. It is smooth, but in terms of aroma and fruity taste, it is not like a so-called daiginjo. I thought it would be more direct at room temperature, Today, I served it at room temperature. This one has a softer sweetness. I thought it had more flavor and umami at room temperature (because it was the second day?). Taste, more umami? I also feel a little sourness, more rice-like. Now that my daughter has gone, will there be more sake from Shimane? I wonder..,

ポンちゃんGood morning, Mr. Takashi 🐥. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has moved away. I miss her, but I'm glad to see you have more connection with the local sake 😊.
Japanese>English
TakashiThank you, Pon! My daughter got married about a year ago and moved to Tottori. And this time, to Shimane. So this time, far, far away lol. And next week she's coming back for a friend's wedding, so I'm expecting her with a bottle of sake 😁.
Japanese>English
ジェイ&ノビィHi Takashi 😃 Are you in Shimane from Tottori😊 Shimane sake🍶! Looking forward to what's coming! More importantly, I'm looking forward to your daughter's return 🤗.
Japanese>English
TakashiThank you, Jay & Nobby! I was going to visit Tottori once, but moved to Shimane before I could go! 🙀. I hope to visit Shimane once. Looking forward to some good local sake. lol

TakashiToday, the news of the earthquake 13 years ago has been all over the news since this morning. Somehow, I felt like drinking Tohoku sake today, so I went to Nanbu Bijin. Today, it was served at room temperature. The first sip is delicious, with a taste of rice. A mild taste in the mouth, lingering on the tongue A little sourness and bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Delicious! I visited Ninohe once or twice when I was working in Sendai before the earthquake. I went there by train, so there were no coffee shops near the station to kill time while waiting for the train.

TakashiAkasaka restaurant continued After Tetorigawa, I drank something else, but still, it is hard to keep track in this situation (while talking with customers),.., But this is the first time I drank at the Naohiko Noguchi Institute! I'll have to take a picture of it! It's refreshing, with a gentle sweetness. In a good way, you don't feel 18 degrees. The sweetness tastes more like rice than fruit. It's also very tasty, and I drink it smoothly. I drank more, but that's all for the record! But thanks to all the customers for a great time! They are all good people 😊.

TakashiToday, I had dinner with a client. I had dinner in Akasaka with people I've known for more than 20 years, and who have continued to keep in touch with me even though my company has changed. Tetorigawa It's a honjozo, but it's fresher than I thought it would be, Fruity, with a hint of sourness. Easy to drink and delicious! I'm sorry to have treated you to this, even though I'm there with a customer! But it seems that this restaurant took the sake for Ishikawa's support!

TakashiMy wife, who had been visiting her parents, her second son's family, and her daughter's family for a while, returned yesterday. (Chugoku and Shikoku regions) This is a souvenir from Ehime. She bought it because of its funny name. "Speak and you'll understand"... I've certainly never heard of it. Dry type Honjozo-like? It's a little dry, but you can taste the sake (rice?) flavor. but you can taste the sake (rice?) flavor.

Hyakujuro粉雪 CP 無濾過生原酒純米吟醸

TakashiAnother bottle of Hyakujuro bought at Hayashi Honten in Gifu Koyuki Creamy Powder It is completely different from the other bottle, "Seibatsu Dai Drykuchi"! Looks like, as the name suggests, powdered snowflakes? Slightly effervescent, sour, fresh and fruity! And not so sweet and refreshing! This one, too, will be gone in no time..,

Hyakujuro生誕 大辛口 しぼりたて純米
48
TakashiLast week, when I was on a business trip to Gifu, I finished work early, so I stopped by the Hayashi Honten, a Hyakujuro brewery, on my way home (let's call it that). I heard that now you have to make a reservation for at least four people to visit the brewery on weekends, but they gave me a brief, distant tour. Naturally, since we were there, we bought some sake. The liquor store near my house sells Akamen and Kuro-men, so I bought two bottles of the ones that don't seem to be available in my neighborhood. Today, one of them. Hyakujuro Birthday Dai-Saraguchi Shiboritate. Clear and dry type, I guess. Slightly bitter on the palate, Does it taste like rice? The acidity isn't strong, but it comes out a little bit as you drink. The people at this brewery were all very nice.

Suigei特別本醸造

TakashiAfter the oyster restaurant and the chicken wing restaurant (I didn't drink sake at these two places), the izakaya is pretty goofy. Drunken Whale Clear, light, and stable as usual. This kind of feeling fits well in an izakaya! I would have liked to drink a little more sake, but it was a fun and tasty day of exploring Noge with friends. (4 restaurants in 4 hours)

Aizuchujo純米吟醸

TakashiIn no time at all, I was the last one to drink at this restaurant. It hasn't been an hour yet. Aizu Nakasho Easy to drink! It goes down so smoothly! I feel a little sweetness, but it's more of a refreshing impression. This restaurant has a good variety of sake. I wish I could sit back and drink a little more, But this is like Noge lol After this, we moved to a restaurant that serves oysters and sparkling wine. The photo of oysters is from that restaurant.

TakashiThe second cup is Azakura. It's kind of premier and rare. It's sweet, but not as sweet as the previous one. A little fruity. This feeling is at a pace where you can drink as many glasses as you want! Dangerous

Fusanokangiku羽州誉50 Horizon 無濾過生原酒純米大吟醸
50
TakashiYesterday, I went to Yokohama Noge with two high school friends! First, we went to a local sake tavern where we could drink sake at a reasonable price. We bought coins and bought each sake from a vending machine. The first drink was a sake made from Kangiku's Hashu Honor. It was sweet, a little bit thick, and gave the impression of being thick. Fruity, but more sweet than sour.

Gangiノ壱 無濾過生原酒純米

TakashiThe last sake of the day was GANKI No.1 Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake! (It's hard to stay long when drinking alone outside.) The first sake of GANKI, the origin of GANKI? A little sourness in the sweetness, freshness. More umami than fruity (rice flavor?) Delicious! Here is the bill! I didn't take pictures of all the food, but isn't it unusual for customers to drink and eat so quickly? LOL!

ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Takashi 😃. You found a good Yakitori restaurant near your house 🤗Yakitori and Sake 🍶 is the perfect combination 👍You might stay longer every time you go there 😆.
Japanese>English
TakashiGood evening, Jay & Nobby. I went there because of the good comments online. I just can't help but eat and drink too fast, lol, 😁I get bored when I'm alone. I'm thinking of inviting my wife this time.

Haginotsuru辛口特別純米

TakashiNext, my first sake (unless I drank it when I was in Sendai) Haginotsuru Dry Junmai This one is refreshing, with a slight sweetness when you drink it. However, it's more of a dry sake. It's not that dry. It goes well with yakitori. I thought this sake was cosy, I thought it was cosy, but it's a little small, The clear Masu is a nice touch.

Haneya煌火純米吟醸

TakashiToday, unusually, I drank alone, near my house. My wife is away from home. So I decided to explore a restaurant I had never been to before. A nice little yakitori restaurant. First, beer, then choriwasa, Then, Haneya! Soft, not too sour, not too fresh, sweet. Overall, it's beautiful! Delicious! This is my first time here, but this place looks good!

Atagonomatsuはるこい 生酒純米吟醸

TakashiSometimes I use Google Maps to find a liquor store within a 30 minute bike ride and go there. This past Saturday, I found a liquor store surprisingly close by. I've passed by it many times, but never noticed it. I went there immediately. There is no signboard, and the name is not "Fatty's Liquor Store" or anything like that. But it surely looks like a proper liquor store. The refrigerated cases on the front of this liquor store are about 3/4 full of sake bottles (roughly), and there are only a few 4-gou bottles. I'm on a bicycle, so I can't afford to buy a bottle of sake. Among the few bottles, the one that caught my eye was "Harukoi". After a brief lecture from the store staff on how to open the bottle, I put it in my backpack and was asked, "Is it OK? Isn't it slanted? I ended up putting it in the outside water bottle container and left. I carefully opened the bottle while watching a YouTube video of the Shinzawa Brewing Company. It went so well that I was almost disconcerted! LOL! Fresh acidity when you drink it, indeed, if you say so, not citrusy, strawberry? A lingering feeling on the palate and a slight bitterness. Sourness prevails over sweetness. The alcohol content is low, so it goes down smoothly. The last sip was a bit foamy. Maybe I should have stirred it in the middle? I drank it in no time at all.
