After leaving the Sake Expo in Harukas and getting on the train, I realized that I had not drunk the Ryoseki cold sake recommended by Nemuchi😨.
I remembered that the next liquor store I was going to was carrying Ryoseki, so I checked the fridge to see if they had it 😻
The taste is refreshing and gentle with a rounded sweetness. It is an interesting type of sake that is a little different from other similar sake, even though it is a honjozo. It also has a little bit of lactic acidity. I haven't tried it, but I heard it tastes good on the rocks with a lime on the side.
It's a year old, but it's still delicious.
I don't have a lime, so I might try it with a slice of lemon 🤔.
It looked a little yellowish.
The moment you put it in your mouth, it had a strong sweetness.
but it quickly
but it quickly melts away.
Slightly fruity and quite easy to drink.

Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO10
They brought two brands, Suitama and Ryoseki, but I asked about Ryoseki Ginmon, which I had never seen before, but they only sold one square bottle without tasting.
Ryoseki Honjozo for ◯cold use
I was allowed to drink this sake instead of Ryoseki Ginmon. It is a very mild and interesting honjozo, and delicious. The brewer told us that it tastes best if you chill the sake and the glass and serve it with a lime instead of a squeeze of lime, and the citrus aroma was so good that it was sold out. What a good businessman.
It tastes good cold, but you can feel a little bit of a spicy sensation. When warmed up to lukewarm, it mellows out and is very nice. Delicious, highly recommended.
Sweet and tasty aroma
Sweet and savory aroma
Thick texture on the tongue
Thick sweetness and fragrance
Pairs well with teriyaki chicken
Good with simmered dishes and oily food
Delicious!
When I tasted it, the aroma was sweet and the taste was light.
The aroma is sweet and the taste is light, but if you drink it after a while, it seems to become more mellow.
The special order sake that was being worked on for the 100th anniversary of Shinsuke's founding in 2024 was completed.
Since April 5 is "Seimei," or the day of the 24 seasonal divisions, the sake will be unveiled on the first floor starting today. The price will be the same as before, but it will be sold in a different way.
Both the Honjozo and Junmai sake are made with 100% Akita Prefecture ingredients only.
The junmai sake, in particular, is made from sake-komachi (Akita-komachi, a type of rice used for sake brewing), which is produced in very small quantities. It is tuned to have a mellow aftertaste when compared to honjozo sake.
With the completion of this product, all Shinsuke's Ryoseki are now "special-order items that are not for sale to the general public.
Since Shinsuke = Ryoseki has been established, the special-order label boldly focuses on the type of sake and the ingredients, making the brewer's name smaller and removing the Hare no kisho (good omen) icons such as the phoenix and the chrysanthemum flower.
We trimmed the amount of information and adjusted the back bar to create a cozy view.
Domestic rice, 35% polished
More refreshing than expected. I thought it would be more mellow. But it tastes good as usual. The clarity is high. I had it with sashimi and it was a good match.
