After returning from Kyushu, I worked at a customer's company in Akihabara for two days from the very next day (yesterday). A get-together is always included in this company🍶. Yesterday, I rented out a buckwheat noodle restaurant and had a drink with the mid-level members. The sake was a bottle of Hokuyo Junmai, which I had never tried before! As usual, I asked, "May I take a picture of the bottle?" I said, "Sorry, I put it on ice to cool it down, so the label is dirty..." 🤣 Never mind 😘 It's really white? Clean and clear. Sake that is light and clean. It's soft and you can drink it smoothly while eating Let's go for another day 👍

Kyushu (8) The third (and last) glass was Wakanami Junmai Ginjo. I had a good impression of Wakanami after drinking a different one before. Fresh! A little shwashy. It has sweetness too! Delicious 😋. Everyone is drinking different kinds of sake, but so far, I've had 3 glasses of sake at the same pace with my eldest son's wife 🤣. After this, we left, but my eldest son and his wife and my second son went for ramen (my eldest son had two refills of ramen). (My eldest son apparently had two refills 😱) After the wedding in Kyushu and everything, I am on my way home today. ✈️ Thank you all! Tomorrow is another hard day at work!

Hi Takashi, I see you were in Fukuoka 😊. Wakanami is delicious, isn't it? I'm sure you'll enjoy the sparkling Wakanami as well if you come across it in the future. 🙇‍♂️ Your eldest son must have an amazing stomach for 2 doubles!

Thank you, ma-ki-😊. Really, I drank too much🤣. I think I will take a rest day today. (Maybe) Wakanami, it was delicious 😋.

Hello, Chirsta 😊. It's been about 3-4 years since I was in Fukuoka. Wakanami is delicious 😋 I haven't had the sparkling yet, so I'd like to try it. My eldest son is on his third restaurant, so obviously he eats too much 🤣.

Good evening, Pon😊. Since I came all the way to Fukuoka, I'm glad I got to drink Fukuoka sake 😘. My eldest son's wife drinks too, but I heard her sister is actually awesome 🤣I didn't drink because she's having a baby next month 😅.

Kyushu 6) After the lively dinner party, the other family went back to Saga, and we, who stayed in Fukuoka, went to another restaurant 🤣 (our daughter and her husband with baby went back to the hotel, and we, our married couple, our eldest son and his wife and our second son got married). The Izakaya kind of restaurant. Mita Dai-Sarakuchi Yamahai Junmai Dry Sake This is a Fukuoka sake I've never had before. It's a Mitsui Kotobuki sake. It has a yellow tinge to it. Dry type, clean (which is no surprise since it's a very dry sake😆). A little sourness I like this kind of pattern too 😘.

Kyushu (5) Next, a recommendation from the store Naohiko Noguchi's lineup of about 10 different types of four-pack bottles, even though it is in Fukuoka. We ordered a bottle of Naohiko Noguchi Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake and drank it together (although I think I drank about half of it 🤣). A little sourness Fresh and refreshing Slightly bitter and a little complex? I asked for a bottle and some people drank it. Everyone who drank it said it was delicious. My son's daughter-in-law's sister's husband is American. He liked it too🥳. Yobuko squid, I've never seen anything like it 🦑. It was delicious 😋.

Kyushu ④ Yesterday, my eldest son's wedding ceremony went off without a hitch, and afterwards, we had dinner with both families in Hakata! They had prepared some kind of Tsurukame (crane and turtle) tableware to congratulate us. The restaurant looked nice, though they took it over there. Shigemasu Daiginjo First time drinking it! Clear and soft A little sweet. Beautiful and tasty

Kyushu ③. My eldest son's wedding was to be held in Hakata, so I flew in the day before. Continued Since we had come all the way to Hakata, we decided to go to one more restaurant, and we hit a couple of places that looked interesting, but they were all closed because it was Saturday. Our daughters went to a hotel because they had a baby with them. My wife and I and my second son went to a food stall along the river. When I was here on business before, there were only a few people in Corona and we were able to get in smoothly, but on this day, there were many people! But we were able to get into one at the right time 🥳. Kubota Senju Is it a regular one? Awarei Sukkiri (light and refreshing). This restaurant mainly serves skewers and tempura? This kind of light, dry sake goes well with that. I really want to drink a variety of Fukuoka and Saga sake, but I can't focus on sake, but that's okay because I'm still having a lot of fun 😘. Today is my eldest son's wedding day, rain was forecasted for a long time, but it looks like it will hold up. 🌥️ I'm counting on you 🙇.

Kyushu (2) Yesterday, I was driven from my eldest son's wife's parents' house in Saga to Hakata where we are staying at a hotel. My eldest son is staying at his wife's house, so he left and my second son joined him instead. The six of us, my daughter and her husband, and the baby, went to a motsunabe restaurant that we had reserved 🍲. Kiku Bijin Fukuoka sake First time drinking (and seeing) it! A little stylish bottle. I later looked it up on the internet and found that Kitahara Hakushu liked to drink it and even wrote letters on it! Soft and gentle? It's a little sweet, but it's refreshing. It doesn't interfere with food and goes down smoothly. We had a late lunch (and cake) until 4pm and then had motsu-nabe from 5pm! For that, I ate okay 🤣.

Kyushu (1) Today is the wedding ceremony of my eldest son who has already registered 🎊. At first she said she wouldn't do it, but in the end we decided to just have the ceremony! The bride is from Saga, so it will be held in Fukuoka. After returning from a business trip to Osaka, we left in the morning of the next day (yesterday) in a hurry, and when we entered Fukuoka Airport, two people who had arrived earlier came to pick us up and take us to her parents' house in Saga. We all had a little late lunch together. After beer, sake 🍶. Somehow, we managed to get a bottle of Hana-no-Mai 🤣 (a gift, apparently). A little sour? Rice flavor? Overall, I think it's refreshing. It's easy to match with food. We had a lively and enjoyable time with the other side's parents, sister and her husband, brother and his wife, us, daughter and her husband and baby, and of course, the eldest son and his wife, and a dog. There was singing and 🎂🎂.

Osaka Minamimorimachi 4 The last one is Ona Super Dry Junmai The Ona I drank before didn't seem dry to me. I don't think it feels dry to the point of being super dry, though it is dry with a Sake meter value of +10. It's like it stays in your mouth until you taste it later? A bit heavy? Sake lees cream cheese, quite tasty, but the taste is strong, the one that somehow doesn't lose to it👍. Of course I could go on 🤣(I really want to) but I'll stop here 😝.

Osaka Minamimorimachi (3) The third glass is Kurumazaka Yamahai Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu A little different from the previous ones? Firm taste? A sense of Yamahai? Is it the sweetness of the rice that is not fruity? There is a little sweetness, but is it more of a crisp and dry type? The shime saba (mackerel) with black soy sauce is also delicious 😋.

Akihabara 3) The last one I never drank either. Hiran, Nikomaru I've had "Hiran" before, but this is my first time to try "Nikomaru". Sweet, fresh! A little shwashy Fruity 😋. Today, there happened to be a lot of fresh sake! Well, it's an Italian restaurant, so I guess they don't have a lot of sake. Maybe it was just a coincidence that I chose it. From today, I have a tight period between work and private life! Good luck!

Caught my eye at a local liquor store. Harukasumi No.6 yeast. Not that I can tell the difference 🤣. How would Harukasumi do with the Shinsei-derived No. 6 yeast? A bit of a schwirl in the mouth! Soft sweetness, refreshing acidity. Fresh! At first, I thought it was a little peculiar. But as I drank it, especially after the second day, it became even fresher! From the day before yesterday to yesterday, I worked at a customer's place in Minatomirai. After the work was finished, I went to a restaurant near Yokohama Station that my friends reserved for me. Comfortable? To relieve fatigue 😄. They had reserved an all-you-can-drink menu, but there was one drink that was not on the all-you-can-drink menu 🍶. The sake served was Tengu Mai Yo-Mun. Just like the name? I guess so! Like the label on the back, it has a unique sweet and sour taste A little lingering on the tongue. By the way, the all-you-can-drink sake is Kido. I had a few glasses of this one. Of course it's refreshing, gentle sourness and sweetness, delicious enough 😋. Good job again, good job! Myself 😆.

At a local liquor store a while ago, Such a great, affordable Naohiko Noguchi! I thought it was the real thing 🧐 and brought it home. And the one I brought home. A new line of sake called Kanagaso (but it's been around for a while now, I just didn't know about it 😅) It's 100% Gohyakumangoku and is alu-sweetened 2022 vintage, 2023 production, 2025 shipping And 20 degrees alcohol? I'll be 🫨 mindful and get to it 😤. A bit strong. It's rather dry? As you drink it, the sourness starts to kick in. A bit bitter and grapefruit-like? On the second day, it is a little refreshing. Maybe it's because of the strong alcohol content, or maybe it's the way the alcohol leaves the nose. But the strong taste remains the same. Sake-like? Sake or rice? I can feel it. It's better than the first sip as you drink more. Delicious 😋.

I've never had Nagurayama, so I bought it. Not the orthodox kind? But ok anyway 😆. Nagurayama Lake xWhale? It looks like it was inspired by Oshima Island seen from Mt. Nagura on the shore of Lake Inawashiro because it looks like a whale 🐳 (the picture is cute😘). A little bit shwashy But it also has a sweet and sour taste. Sweetness in the mouth and sourness in the aftertaste? It's a bit more complex, but how can I describe it? But it's delicious 😋. I feel like it's already the season for summer sake: 🏖️ Lastly, my daughter who lives in Izumo had her birthday a while ago, so we celebrated with a cake 🎂 just in time for her arrival here! But cakes are surprisingly expensive! You can buy several bottles of alcohol🤣.
