Today is a pleasant little spring day. I went out during the day to run some errands and had a leisurely evening drink. It was a very productive day. So today we started with beer, and here's what we'll open. Mountain Sleep. The label is good, but the name is also good. It has a doshiri feeling and a lightness. The taste is still austere. It has a strong presence that says, "I'm not like those guys these days who are so excited. And yet it is fruity. I think it would be just right for my mood if I drank it in a colder season. It is not a whiskey, but it has the taste of drinking it totsutsu totsutsu with a crackling fire in the fireplace. As the label says, it is a hard, tight, winter airy sake. This sake is well suited to be poured slowly and without haste. The alcohol content is a solid 18 degrees. I enjoy it like a hunter relaxing by the fireplace after a long day of hunting. It is a hardy sake, but it is also gentle. I would not recommend it to those who are not accustomed to drinking it, but since it has a strong flavor, I think it has a strength that will not be defeated no matter what it is paired with. If you see it, I think it's a good choice.

I have been on a diet for a while now, and have been cutting back on sake, but I have created a (selfish) standard for myself that says it's OK to drink up to one sake. So I opened a bottle of Tasake Yamahai that I had purchased. I have had Tasake before, but I don't think it was Yamahai. In conclusion, the Tasake I drank before was more to my liking than the Yamahai. It's delicious, though! The sweetness spreads in the mouth. The moderately spicy taste is pleasant. However, I personally find this sweetness a little too sweet. I think it is fine if you enjoy it by itself, but I usually pair it with snacks, so I prefer it to be sharp and clean. Well, if it is said that I made a mistake in my selection, that is the end of the story.... I have no doubt that it tastes good, so I think it is best if you choose the right occasion to drink it. Personally, I find it difficult to match this sake with the right snacks. It is probably right to drink it by itself.

It's been a warm day in Tokyo yesterday and today. Looking at the plum blossoms, I think that spring is near. I bought some Shichiken today. It is a brand that I personally recommend because it is affordable and delicious (the price is so reasonable that it makes me worry). The Spring Shibori may have been shipped recently. It's always a well-balanced Shichiken, so I didn't hesitate to choose it. It has a spring-like pink label. Personally, I think the best selling point of Shichiken is the ease with which it can be pulled off. It is a wonderful brand that is clean and does not interfere with the meal, but has a strong presence. Although it is oriental, it is not so muddy compared to other brands. It has a moderate acidity (not much, really) and a moderate sweetness. It's not dry, but it's not too sweet, so it goes well with food. Personally, I would like to pair it with light fish in particular. As I expected, it has a good sharpness. Maybe that's a different meaning from the sharpness of other brands. I think it is a brand that does not interfere with food, as if it were a bird in flight. It is definitely delicious. I would recommend this brand to those who are not used to drinking sake, as the next step after sweet and fruity sake.

Everyone, Risshun Asa Shibori is now available in various brands, but I would like to have it with Shinanoshiki. On a personal note, my partner passed away suddenly last month, and I was not in a state to drink for a while. However, I was sure that she did not want me to, so I tried to live my life as usual. And here we are. This drink became the last drink I chose with her. I was worried about making a reservation, but she told me that I should make one. It's delicious. Just delicious, that's all. I'm glad I made the reservation. I will enjoy it to the end. Have a drink with the person at your side, if it is someone who can drink. We all don't know what tomorrow will bring. You may be able to talk about things that are difficult to say over a drink. Even if you are embarrassed, you can say you love her, or that you love her, or whatever. There will always be a time when you wish you had said something. Let's talk about it when we can. I think so. She didn't usually drink alcohol, but she was happy when I gave her some Senkou. She was worried that I would drink too much, but I don't think I will be able to stop for a while.

I personally think that GANKI is a stable brand that never goes out of style, and this time it was delicious as well. According to a quote from a website, "Funade Arashibari" delivers a taste that could only be tasted at the brewery. It certainly has a fresh feel to it. Maybe I'm just assuming it because of what I've been told. (laughs) From the very first sip, the flavor and presence of the rice is concentrated, and it really hits you. It's refreshing but heavy. I think it is one of the best sakes for eating. I think fish would be the best match, but with such a strong presence, I think meat would also work. The flavor of the rice, the spiciness, and the tingling sensation spread to the mouth and slowly receded. There are some brands where you can't tell if you've drunk them or not (I can't say what they are), but I think Ganki is the opposite. And yet, it is easy to drink. I don't recommend it for beginners, but it might be a good one to try when you get used to drinking it.

We ran out of our stock. So we added more today. I bought three bottles, and this is one of them. I bought three bottles, one of which is a daring light one. And this is the 101st bottle registered! This is the 101st bottle registered! It's Koshi's Spring Sake! The plum trees in front of my house have started to bloom. The plum trees in front of my house have started to bloom. The plum trees in front of my house are starting to bloom, but it's still cold with snow predicted... It's wonderful to be able to feel the four seasons through sake. I'm going to drink it. It's just as I imagined, but better. It's a sweet sake with a touch of sugar. I can recommend it even to those who don't like sake without hesitation. Spring! It's like spring. It is easy to drink, but it also has a strong presence, and the flavor spreads quickly in your mouth. The sweetness slowly recedes, leaving behind a bit of spiciness, and then it just goes away. It is very good. If possible, I would like to drink this sake during cherry blossom viewing. Plum blossoms are fine, but I would like to drink it with cherry blossoms. You can drink it easily, so be careful not to drink too much. However, I think I can easily open a four-pack bottle...scary. It's 16 degrees, but you won't feel guilty if you drink it while it's still light. (laughs) It's delicious.

Gorgeous. Just by pouring it, you can smell the fragrance and it has a strong presence even after it is poured. I can see why so many women like it. (I'm sure I'll get a lot of flack for saying that now.) In a word, it is a modern style of sake. It can be enjoyed on its own. It can be enjoyed on its own, with just the right amount of accompaniments, and can be opened to enjoy the sake alone. You can also drink it in the daytime, so it is like white wine. (Although the alcohol content is a bit high). As I mentioned earlier, it is gorgeous and sweet, and after it goes down your throat, it has a good alcohol feeling and a slightly sweet aftertaste. If you are not a fan of sake, I recommend this brand, Senkou, Kaze no Mori, Kamezumi, Yokoyama, Gakki Masamune, Hanayasu, Narumi, and so on. It would be better if you could move on from there to a sake that goes well with sashimi or meat! That's right. On a personal note, I've reached 100 with this post. I started the year before last, and I never thought I would reach 100 bottles so quickly. I hope to continue to enjoy sake in its purest form!

This is Sawaya-Matsumoto, a delicious sake from Kyoto that needs no explanation for the people here. It has an aroma, presence, sweetness, and balance that even people who don't like sake can drink (I think). The label is also elegant and stylish. Continuing from my last post, here is a Kitanokatsu. This one is Junmai sake. I bought a set, but this is the first one. First answer? First of all, I personally prefer the freshly pressed version. Junmai is also a typical Kitanokatsu sake. It tastes like sake, but personally, I think it's not enough. It's too easy to drink. It's like a good quality sake from the past. It's not so subtle when drunk at room temperature, and I think it tastes better when drunk cold. I think it should have more punch. It's tasty enough, but living in Tokyo, there are so many choices that it's hard to choose one.

It's that time of year again. I was wondering if I would be able to get one, but I did. It's probably not very common to find it outside of Hokkaido. Sake! It has a good balance and is very tasty. However, perhaps it is because the brewery is located in Nemuro, or perhaps it is just the kind of sake that fishermen drink! So, if you like sweet and easy to drink sake, this may not be for you. It goes well with fish dishes. If you are ever in eastern Hokkaido and see it, please try it.

I hope everyone is doing well, although I am sick of the corona corona everyday. I hope everyone is doing well, although I am sick of the daily routine of Corona Corona. This time, I bought this brightly labeled Tenmei from my usual liquor store. It's a blend of the first half of the year, so it's a good mix. I guess. I usually write reviews as I drink them, but yesterday I drank it while talking with a friend, so this is a post-review impression. So, I don't remember much... The first thing I want to say is that it is delicious. It's a Tenmei, so I guess it is. It is a medium blend, so if I had drunk it in order from No. 1, I might have been able to understand more about it. Slightly cloudy. The balance is perfect, neither sweet nor spicy, and it is easy to swallow. Rather than being crisp and clean, it is clear but with a strong presence. This is the kind of sake I like. In other words, there is nothing special about it that makes it a must have! In other words, there is nothing special about it that makes it a must-have. But I don't think that's what you want. I tried it with meat and fish, and it was good. It is a limited edition, so it may not be available in stores anymore, but I recommend it.

I have been busy with my personal life and have not been able to post at all. I've been out drinking and doing other things, but unfortunately I haven't been able to take any pictures. Today, my brother's wife sent me a bottle of Daisekkei. And it was a Junmai Daiginjo in a paulownia box, which I wouldn't normally buy. However, I'm sure everyone here knows that Junmai Daiginjo doesn't necessarily mean it's good. I wondered what it would be like, but it's Daisekkei, after all. The base is different. I remembered that I had bought it before and it was delicious. Cheers. Well, whatever your preference, it's definitely a delicious sake. It has a good balance. The aftertaste is smooth, with a slight lingering spiciness. It would be a shame to waste it, but I think it would be good served hot. As it is a Daiginjo, the presence in the mouth may be a little lacking. But it's easy to enjoy. I think you can pair it with anything. It's as good as it gets for its broad base. However, I think the price is probably too high, and I don't think it is a sake I would buy myself. There are other brands with this flavor, and I think you'd be lucky to get it as a gift. It's delicious, though!

I wasn't going to drink today, but I still can't stop. After all, we have quite a stock of it at home now, so it's nice to know that I don't have to hold back. So, this time it was Fukunaga. It was my first time to try it, but I fell in love with the label at first sight. It has a clean and elegant design. It says "dry," so I bought it to see what it would be like. Let's try it. Yes, this is delicious. I knew there were a lot of delicious sake that I didn't know about. After discovering Kaze no Mori, I felt that I could not underestimate the sake of the west. It is tingling in the mouth and spreads a good dry flavor. But if you say it's dry, it is, but honestly, it's not that dry. I think it's a gentle dryness that you can usually drink on its own leisurely. Above all, the balance is good. It's not too floral, not too spicy, not too modern, but it feels new. Well, you'll understand if you drink it. (laughs). It says on the label that it is soft and dry, and that is exactly what it is. It may be good for dry sake beginners. I think it is an honorable sake that can be served with any accompaniment. After all, this is the kind of sake that you drink the most. I recommend it!

The label is plain, and if you don't know the brand, you'll probably pass it by. It has the feel of old-fashioned sake. Let's try it. Oh, it's delicious. Surprises like this make me very happy. It is a sake that is typical of Japanese sake, but it seems to have been brought up to date within that framework. Not in a bad way at all, in fact I applaud it! I think they have struck a good balance. I'm imagining that the goal is to attract new fans while convincing the existing ones. This year, I came back to my hometown for the first time in a long time! When I was looking for a good brand to drink with my parents (who don't drink much sake) at the liquor store, I had a hard time deciding, but I decided to go with "Yokoyama", which I'm used to drinking. Although I'm used to drinking it, it's been a while since I've had a bottle of Yokoyama. I tend to give priority to brands that I've never had before, so I tend to pass on them. Opening the bottle. The label and the stopper are stylish as always. Of course, the taste comes first. Let's try it. Oh, it's delicious. I thought that it was indeed a Yokoyama, but it was not what I had in mind. I thought it would have a stronger sweetness, but it's not that strong. I thought it would be more sweet, but it wasn't. Rather, it was more like a sake with a touch of sweetness. Of course, it's a lot sweeter than the dry brands. I'm glad to hear that my parents were satisfied with it. It's hard to predict what the year 2022 will bring, but I'm looking forward to drinking as much good sake as I can! I wish you all a wonderful year of sake encounters!

I think everyone is about to finish their work. (If you are busy during the New Year's holidays, thank you for your patience. Thank you very much.) It's been cold to the core these days, but I hope everyone is doing well. In times like these, let's sit in the kotatsu, have a hot pot, and drink some good sake. Well, nigori sake in winter. I can't stand it. It's probably the first time I've ever had it this tender. I bought it at the store because I was curious about it, but it's as thick as its name suggests. It is slow even when pouring. The name "kneaded" is not an exaggeration. I eat it. Mmm, it's nostalgic. But it's very easy to drink. It has a nice sweetness and a tingling sensation. It's delicious. It's more like sake... I can't find a good way to describe it. It has a moderate sweetness and a firm tartness. And the texture on the tongue is different from ordinary nigorizake. Oh, that's right, it's almost like drinking yogurt. (I'm sorry for my bad analogy.) What would you like to pair this with? Nabe (hot pot) is good too, chicken nabe sounds good. I've always been wary of nigori sake because I get drunk easily, but I just can't resist drinking it. I'm in trouble, but it's good. It's good, but I'm in trouble. The end of the year is approaching. These days, it's cold enough to make me shiver when I go outside. In such a situation, the taste of the first siboritate is delicious. At this time of year, I get excited when I see the words "Hatsu Shibori" and "Shiboritate" lined up in stores. The other day, I went to the liquor store to buy some more sake, as I had run out of stock at home due to a rather delicate souvenir. Even though it was a weekday, the place was more crowded than usual, probably because people were buying sake for their friends. Even so, the abundance of sake at this time of year is unbelievable! One bottle is the easy drinking "Yokoyama" for my parents' house when I go home, and the rest are for myself. This is the one we'll be opening today! It's a Sugiyu Hatsu Shibori. (Sorry for the confusion with the Mimuro Sugi when I bought it...) Even though I know it won't be a disappointment, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I'll take it! Mmm, this sense of balance. Delicious! It's not too sweet, not too spicy, it's a good food sake. It seems to be easy to match with food. It has a sake character. It has a recent atmosphere, but it also has the atmosphere that sake used to have, so it's a good mix. Of course, it's fresh! We don't recommend it to those who are not used to it. This is the pattern I usually follow when I get a gift from someone who doesn't know much about sake or isn't interested in it, but I thought it was probably too subtle... but I had no other choice, so I decided to take it. I'm really sorry for giving it to you, but I can't help it. I don't think you're reading this, so I'll be honest with you. Opening the bottle. It's not very classy to write "phantom sake" yourself. And what is written as "phantom" is usually not a phantom. It's sold at souvenir shops. The sake that is truly fantastic is digested without being known locally. Anyway, I'll have it. ...Yeah, well, yeah. It tastes like that, doesn't it? I don't want to go into too much detail, because I don't think the people who post here will buy it, but it's kind of unique. If you want to get drunk, this is for you. I don't know any other Gosho Izumi! Maybe that's why this is the only one that's different. Also, I have my preferences, you know? Those of you who are involved, please don't be offended if you read this. It wasn't for me. I'll drink it up now that I've opened it, though.

It has become much colder. The wind is cold even when it's sunny. It feels like winter has finally arrived. At a time like this, I thought it would be a good time to open a bottle of Izumo Fuji's Yukimo, which I bought at the liquor store last time. The rough texture of the frosted glass bottle and the silver printed text. The contents of the bottle are also nigori sake, and the overall package is elegant and expresses the winter air. It makes you excited even before you drink it. With this look, it's a good gift. The preamble has been long. I'll try it. Mmm, it's delicious. It's very good. I've never been disappointed with Izumofuji, so I had high expectations, but it exceeded them! I think it was the right decision to serve it chilled. It has a pleasant tingling sensation on the tongue and a sweetness that spreads. It is not spicy at all. It has a light and refreshing impression, but I think it has a strong presence. It is a sake that can be enjoyed on its own, but it can also be enjoyed with or after a meal. It is a sake that can be enjoyed on its own, but I think it goes well with light dishes such as white fish. This year is already almost over. A lot has happened in this year, but I hope to enjoy sake for the rest of the year.
