Maruhi, nigori zake was opened 🎉. It's been a long time since I've had Maruhi! It's been since Natsunama in summer☺️ We were able to drink 3 out of 6 bottles of the Maruhi series this year: ❣️ Pon-chan and I were saying that we wanted to complete the series! We were saying that we wanted to complete the series with Pon-chan, but we couldn't 😅. This nigori sake is the last Maruhi of this season☝️ I'll have it right away 🥂. First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness spreads, and then the sourness of Malhi spreads all over your mouth! Wow, it's still sweet and sour ❕, but it has a nice sharpness and a crisp aftertaste. No pungency, bitterness, or astringency. Even if you shake the bottle gently and make it nigori, the flavor doesn't change much, it is still very sweet and sour 😆. But this sweet and sour balance is probably my favorite and easiest to drink of all the Maruhi so far 😍. All Maruhi's are sour, but they all have their own differences, which is interesting 🧐. But this sweet and sourness is addictive 😉. When paired with fried food, the oil is soooo reseshed and exquisite👍. I'd like to aim for a complete set next year, but I'm already going to miss the first batch due to fridge issues😭. But I'm sure I'll repeat the nigori sake next season 🥰.

Tenbi and Yukiten were opened 🎉. Yukiten is a very popular new nigori sake at Sake-no-Wawa ☃️ I couldn't get it last year, so I wanted to drink it this year no matter what: ‼️ So we got our long-sought after Yukiten this year 🤗. I've read a lot of reviews and many people say it's more dry, so I was a little worried about it 💧... 💧. I'll have my first snow heaven 🥂. Let's start with the supernatant. The aroma is a little floral. In the mouth, a fresh and clear texture with a gorgeous sweetness spreads out. The sweetness is not thick, but fresh and clean, with a touch of sourness in the second half, and a touch of spiciness at the end of the bottle, which then finishes off. No astringency or bitterness. When mixed with cage, the texture becomes silky and the freshness is gone. The spiciness in the second half is also a little stronger. The aftertaste is refreshing. This is easy to drink and delicious 😋😋😋. There is some spiciness, but this spiciness gives it a nice sharpness, and the pull is just very fast! I was impressed with how well they finished it 😆. I guess this is what you call a dry kick 😋⁉️ Even if you don't like dry like me, this is ok👌. But I still think that the best Tenbi is the Momoten🍑😘.

59Takachiyo Comet was opened 🎉. It's Takachiyo, my favorite alphabet after a long time: ☺️ It is made from 100% Comet from Hokkaido. I don't hear of many sake made with comets. The label is pink🩷. Let's have it while imagining💭 what kind of fruit this is: ❣️ Cheers 🥂. First, the aroma. Fruity aroma! In the mouth, I feel strawberry 🍓 fruit. My husband says it's lychee... 😆 In the second half, I feel a strong sourness and from sweet and sour, I don't think there is much gasiness, but I get an astringent taste like gasiness, and it finishes nicely. No pungency or bitterness. Ahhhh 😮‍💨 it's still alphabet delicious😋😋😋. Comet has a beautiful taste or it's clear and easy to drink with no clutter at all✨. And it's different from Hiragana: ‼️ What a difference⁉️ If Hiragana is like an energetic elementary school student with all the fruity juiciness, then Alphabet is like a junior high school student who has grown up a little bit 🤣. Only the drinker can tell the difference 💕 In conclusion, both are delicious😍! I won't take off Hiragana and Alphabet either ☝️ Comet is especially recommended by Takachiyo mom 🥰.

Yokoyama, SILVER7 was opened 🎉. SILVER7 from Yokoyama was recommended to me by the folks at Sake-no-wa! Since it was on sale as a draft sake, I wanted to drink it any way I could: ‼️ I had no choice but to buy it 👌👌. So I got my long awaited YOKOYAMA 😍. This will be my first time to have Hiragana Yokoyama ☺️ Oh, I'm so excited 💕 I'll have some right away 🥂. First of all, the aroma. The aroma is gorgeous! In the mouth, a gorgeous, rich sweetness spreads, and in the second half, acidity comes in with a sizzle and a bit of astringency. The astringency and gasiness are intertwined, and it finishes nicely. No pungency or bitterness. Wow, this is Yokoyama... 🤤. Yup! This is delicious 😋😋😋. What an elegant taste and perfect balance 💐. It is richer than I expected! The rice 🌾 has a strong and robust flavor. It is rich sweet and sour 🥰. The acidity and astringency are perfect and easy to drink without being too heavy, and it goes on and on. I think it is perfect for this season. Well thought out and brewed 🤔. I would like to savor it slowly because of its elegance🌹, but I found myself finishing it in no time: ❣️ No wonder it's so popular 🤗

Sairai and Kazehajime were opened 🎉. It's been a long time since we've had this 💕. And this time it's freshly squeezed new sake 👌. The label is also light purple and neat ✨. Kazehajime means the beginning of a new chapter, and this is the first product released with the determination to make a new Sairai! It is a bottle filled with the brewer's wish for you to feel the evolved flavor of aroma, sweetness and acidity. ❣️ As a Sairai mom, I can't miss the beginning. ☝️ I'll have it right away 🥂. First, the aroma. The aroma is gorgeous! When you put it in your mouth, a rich sweetness spreads, and you can feel the rich umami of the rice. In the second half, you can feel the acidity and it finishes gently. No gassiness No bitterness, pungency, or astringency It has a very elegant taste. It has a beautiful balance that is typical of Sairai, with a firm flavor and acidity and no cloying taste. It is clean and neat, but has a solid axis. It is a taste that is typical of Sairai 😋. To be honest, I didn't feel like it has evolved 😅. I thought the taste was similar to the standard 🩵 label💦. Hmmm...maybe it's just me. I'm sure it's delicious, but I couldn't tell what changed: 🙇‍♀️ I guess I'm disqualified from being a Ayai mama 😩. I'll be reviewing the Ichioshi🤍 label that was just released later 😘.

Kangiku, NEW sensation was opened 🎉. At last, the last and fourth bottle of the Discovery Series is now available: ‼️ The big one is the 🩷 label NEW sensation. This will be my ranking of this year's Discovery Series 😚. I'm glad I managed to get the ranking out by the end of this year! The last 🩷 label is Koshihikari, edible rice from Chiba Prefecture. And surprise surprise, it's a junmai sake with a milling ratio of 90%😳 only 10%. It is brewed almost entirely with rice! It's quite a challenge 😆. Let's taste a bottle that demands a new sensation 🥂. First, the aroma. The sweet aroma that is typical of Kangiku is subdued. When you put it in your mouth, the fruity sweetness bursts forth. In the second half, there is a sense of gas and a strong acidity. The sourness lingers in the mouth as it fades away. No bitterness, astringency, or pungency. This is a bit... 🤔 It's unusually sour, even for a cold chrysanthemum 😵. Not sweet and sour, but sour! This year's 🩷 label had a strong impact of sourness. It's totally different from last year's 🩷label... 🤣 Now let's announce the results of the cold chrysanthemum mama✨ 1st 💛 2nd place 💚 3rd place 🩵 4th place 🩷 It was delicious again this year 🥰.

Senkori, Snowman ⛄️ is now open 🎉! This is the first Snowman ⛄️! I asked the liquor store to hold it for me so I went there for the holidays 🚗. Then, what a surprise ‼️ It was a UA collaboration snowman ⛄️🤩! But you know... to be honest... I had never had Senkou's standard Snowman, so I wanted to drink from the standard 😅. I also checked out the UA collaboration and it seems to have a different flavor and is more expensive 💸💧. But I can't complain about the kindness of the liquor store and I'm happy to be able to drink the hard-to-find UA collaboration! I was so happy to be able to drink the hard-to-find UA collaboration! I was so impressed that I opened the bottle on the same day 🙌 To the snowman 🥂. When I twisted the cap, it suddenly started stirring and all at once it turned white 😳. After it settled without spilling, I poured it into a glass: ☺️ On the palate, it's silky and sweeter than I expected, more like a rummy. It's also gassy and tart, with a sweet and sour taste that I love. No pungency, bitterness or astringency. This is delicious 😋😋😋. I can see why everyone raves about it: ☝️ I knew I wanted to drink from the classic snowman 😭 I can't compare, but the UA collaboration is so amazingly delicious, it makes me want to drink the classic even more 💕. Thanks to the liquor store 🙇‍♀️

Yamazan, Kinmon Nishiki was opened 🎉. We just got word that Yamazan's new sake has been released 🤩. I must pick that up as soon as possible: ❣️ But first, we have to drink the last of the fire-brewed Yamazan that will be in our fridge for the last time this year 😉. So we've had a lot of Yamazan this year, but the last one to appear is Kinmon Nishiki: ☺️ In your post on sakénowa, it seems it tends to have a strong astringent and bitter taste 🧐. That's a bit of a pet peeve of mine... 💦. So I drank it with this previous information in mind 😆. Well, cheers 🥂. First, the aroma Refreshing and gorgeous aroma! In the mouth, the gentle sweetness gives way to the umami of Kinmon-nishiki, and then Kita Kita Kita from the second half! Astringency and bitterness! But I was prepared for it, so it's not that strong! Yes, it's okay at least this much 👍. No pungency, no gassiness. Kinmon-nishiki is interesting. The change from a firm sweetness at first to bitterness and astringency gradually is amazing🤔. I thought it was a distinctive sake rice 😚. But Yamasan is delicious 😋. Different sake rice tastes totally different, and I have my preferences, but they are all delicious ✨. New Yamasan sake, I'll have to stock up as soon as possible 🚗💨. I can't wait to see how Yamazan evolves in the future 🥰.

Kangiku and identity were opened 🎉. My favorite Chrysanthemum 💕! And the Discovery Series that hasn't ended yet😅! The third bottle is now available in 💛label identity ❣️ The 💛label is So no Mai🌾. Chiba So no Mai seems to be very common in supermarkets 🤔. So let's have it now 🥂. First, open the bottle. Oops! Oops! The cork suddenly blew out and hit the ceiling 💥. Thank goodness nothing was on top... The 💛label is very healthy! So be careful opening the bottle: ⚠️ The aroma is a little subdued, with a hint of chrysanthemum. The sweetness on the palate is sweet, but rather refreshing and reserved. The gasiness is strong, and the astringency starts to accentuate in the second half. The finish is crisp and refreshing. No pungency or bitterness. This is also brilliant 😋😋😋😋. Very easy to drink😍. Maybe So no Mai 🌾 is just the taste of common people ☝️ Just the right amount of sweetness and umami, with a strong astringency, but the strong gasiness keeps it all together nicely, and it's delicious with a strange, refreshing feeling 🤩. You've done it well again 🙌! As expected from Kangiku 😘. So far 🩵→💚→💛. Only one more to go: ☝️ I guess it's a long way to come... 🤣 It's been a long time since I was a cold chrysanthemum mama 💖.

How does it taste after six months of raw aging? ⁉️ I'll have it right away 🥂. First, the aroma Sweet and gorgeous aroma! When you put it in your mouth, the mild sweetness spreads! The flavor and sweetness of the Hachitan-Nishiki rice is well expressed, not a thick sweetness, but moist and mellow 🤤 There is a weak and delicate gas feeling in the latter half of the taste. It slowly finishes while retaining its umami. It's kind of delicious! 😋😋😋😋. I wonder if the Hachitan Nishiki rice is good 🤔. The matured sweetness is exquisite ‼️ not fresh, not a noble sake, but a sweetness that makes you feel it's matured. There's a proper sense of gas in it 🤩. It's still fresh, so it's still gassy! They insisted 😉. Chiebijin-san, I think this raw ripeness is a success 👌 Fire-roasted hiyaoroshi is good, but I think raw hiyaoroshi should be a new genre 🥰. It's delicious 💕

Koshi and Sakai no Dawn were opened 🎉. I finally went to the liquor store to pick it up 😆. Last year I drank SAKASAI NO YAWAKE for the first time and was surprised by its shockingly good taste! Since then, Koshi has become my favorite, but Sakasui no Yoake is the best 🤩 and delicious. I was determined to make a repeat purchase, so I'm glad I was able to get it again this year: 😮‍💨 This year, there was a problem in the production process and one of the two tanks of sake was ruined. They had to stop reservations suddenly and had to ship half the amount. I made my reservation early and was lucky enough to get it 🙏. The brewers pressed the sake at midnight, and liquor stores from all over Japan went to the brewery to get the freshly pressed sake. I will be having some as soon as possible, thanks to all of you 🥂. First, the aroma! Gorgeous fruity aroma! Fresh sweetness spreads in the mouth! You can feel the freshness of the freshly made sake and the fresh gasiness, and in the second half, you can also feel a slight spiciness, but it is counteracted by the freshness of the new sake! At times like that, I want him to drink Mimuro Cedar, which he loves, and smile a little. ❣️ That's why the Mimuro Cedar is a great choice 👌👌. Cheers to my husband for his hard work 🥂. First, the aroma. The unique aroma of Mimuro cedar. When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the soft and moist watery sensation and the gentle sweetness spreads. The acidity of the sake's yeast yeast yeast is pleasant, and the second half of the sake goes down smoothly and cleanly. There is no pungency, bitterness, or astringency. I had heard rumors that it was sweeter and juicier than Sei, so I was wondering if I would come across this bottle someday! Finally I was able to bring it to you 🥰. The rice is made with Watabune from Shiga 🌾I've never had much Watabune so I'm looking forward to it ❣️ Cheers🥂! First, the aroma! It has a very fruity and gorgeous aroma! When you put it in your mouth, the fruity sweetness spreads. In the mouth, the fruity sweetness spreads out in a big sizzle, and the sweetness of the Watanobune can also be felt. The two kinds of sweetness fuse in the mouth, and a gassy sensation comes from the mid-palate. The second half of the taste is sweet, sour, and juicy, and the aftertaste is cut off cleanly and smoothly. No pungency, astringency, or bitterness. This is! How easy to drink 🤩! Shichiken and Hiyoroshi are now open 🎉. This one was a gift from 💁‍♀️ I can tell from the specs on the back label that it's not my favorite flavor. Because it's more dry... 💧. I would definitely not buy it myself 👛. But Shichiken itself I like ❣️ And the Ichiban Shibori just released was delicious when I drank it last year 😉. I'll have to drink hiyaoroshi now that I have it! Well then, I'll toast with trepidation 🥂. First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma! When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the beautiful watery sensation that is typical of Nanaken, and there is a slight sweetness that is more than you expected. There is no sense of gas, and in the second half, the spicy and astringent taste slowly fades away. I see what you mean 🧐. It's not too dry for being prepared for dryness, and it was surprisingly drinkable 😅. I can't drink it in a gulp, but I can drink it while savoring it slowly as a food sake 🤗. I thought it was such a versatile food sake because the water is so clean that it enhances the food and makes it taste even better 👍. Shichiken is beautiful after all 🥰. It's a very good quality sake with a good price tag. I still think I'll buy the new sake Ichiban Shibori as well. ☺️ But there are so many new sake I want: ‼️ I've been thinking about sake every day lately, consulting with my fridge 🤣.

I know it's a bit of a long shot, but.... I felt like I'll never be able to open it again if I don't drink the 🎃 version that will be sold out this time 😅... I'm ready to be brave and drink the last 🎃 😭 Here's to the last 🎃 🥂. First of all, the aroma Sweet and fruity aroma The fruity sweetness spreads in the mouth. The gasiness starts to appear in the mid-palate, and it finishes with a sweet aftertaste. No pungency, bitterness, or astringency. Wow...still delicious 😋😋😋😋. What is this fruit 🤔? I've seen a lot of posts on sakénowa saying it's pear, but I wonder if it's pear? I couldn't identify it 😅. But anyway fruity! 🥭 It has the same feel as the Origara fruit. Origami has an astringent taste, and this one doesn't have that, it's straight up sweet and juicy 🤤. Which one tastes better? In my opinion, both are perfect💯☺️ I still love it ❤️ I'm going to seriously ask Mr. Takachiyo for a 🎃re-release: ✉️ If I hear back from her, I'll let you know in a post 🥰.

Takachiyo, Halloween🎃opened 🎉! Finally I drank Takachiyo 🎃 too ✌️ I couldn't decide which one to drink, but I'll start with the orikara one 😉. I can't believe 🎃 will be sold out this year 😫. I must taste and drink it properly! I'll take it with all my heart and soul 💪. Happy Halloween🥂! First, the aroma! Fruity and sweet aroma! When you take a sip, the sweetness fills up your mouth with a pleasant sweetness, and the gasiness starts to appear in the middle of the sip. Even when mixed with corkage, the taste does not change much. No pungency or bitterness whatsoever. This is ✨delicious😋😋😋😋. It's still amazing 💖. The fruity taste this time can't be compared to a fruit 😅 but it's full of fruity taste 🤩 properly and strangely enough. The gassy and astringent taste does a good job and doesn't bore you with its sweetness, just the right spoonful ☝️ If you think it will be milky when mixed with cage, it won't be! I guess that's how sweet the fruity taste is 🤔. But that's what makes it so takachiyo😍. This makes me excited for Orinashi too 🤗. But are they really selling out this year? Maybe I should go talk to them directly so they can make it again next year🤣.

It has a complex flavor and makes you want to savor and drink it slowly. Shinsei, it's still amazing. 😮‍💨 I'm already at a loss for words. My husband was happy with it and I'm glad 💕. I'm going to try it now 🥂. First of all, the aroma! The fragrance is already bursting with freshness. When you put it in your mouth, it comes in smoothly and pleasantly, and the fruity and gorgeous sweetness spreads, then the sourness explodes in the middle and turns into a cupped sweet and sour taste. It leaves a sweet and sour aftertaste as it is. No gassiness. No pungency, bitterness, or astringency. Well, it still tastes as bold as ever😍. It's so sweet and sour you can't help but smile 😆. Eikofuji, Crimson Glory was opened 🎉. I will never forget the shock of drinking Crimson Glory for the first time last year! One that I was determined to repeat for sure: ☝️ We succeeded in getting it again this year 👌 The label is gorgeous ✨, as is typical of Glory Fuji. And the specs are awesome 🤩. Sake level is -64 Alcohol content is as low as 10%! And yet it's an unfiltered Junmai Daiginjo! I think this is a great thing 🧐. Anyway, I'll have some 🥂. It's still as pink as ever 🩷. The aroma is gorgeous and sweet! Sweet in the mouth 🤤. The sweet Delaware fruit is juicy and sweet 🍇. No gassiness No pungency, astringency or bitterness Sake? You'll never know unless you are told 💧. This is definitely a rosé wine 🍷. Eikoufuji, what kind of magic🪄 makes this kind of sake taste so good that you want to ask. But anyway, it is sweet! I think it's sweeter than last year💓. It's low al so you can drink it like a juice and it looks so cute with its pink color😍. Eiko-Fuji all have impactful labels and the flavors come out well with their characteristics, I'm always impressed 🥰. This was another stunning rosé wine 🩷.

Koshi and Miyamanishiki were opened 🎉. Kouji, the second most popular sake brewery in Chiba Prefecture after Kangiku: ☺️ In my opinion, I feel something similar to Kangiku. Maybe it's because they have the same water quality 🤔. That's why I love Kouji too😍. And this time Miyamanishiki is a 100% Miyamanishiki Junmai Daiginjo ✨ that has been aged by storing the raw sake in ice temperature for more than 6 months. I guess you could say it's a hiyaoroshi of the raw sake ☝️ Just looking at these specs it looks delicious and I bought it 😆. I'll have it right away 🥂. First, the aroma. The aroma is super fruity and gorgeous! The fruity sweetness spreads in the mouth, and the gasiness starts in the mid-palate, followed by a good astringency at the end. It is sharp and goes down smoothly. There is no bitterness or spiciness at all. Wow, it tastes great 😋😋😋😋😋. It is very fruity and sweet 🥭, even though it has been aged for a long time, it is still gassy. It is sweet and juicy without much acidity. Perhaps it is a characteristic of Miyamanishiki, but the flavor of the rice is light. So even though it is matured, it is not rich and almost crisp. Hiyaoroshi has a heavy image, but this is light, sweet, and easy to drink. The new Koshi sake will be available soon 🤩. I was really impressed when I drank it last year, so I pre-ordered it again this year💕. I'm looking forward to seeing the difference between this one and the freshly stored one again ❣️
