First time in Gifu, Shirakawa-go. It's very thick, even among the nigorizake I've drunk. The aroma is like sweet sake. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and grain, and the sourness. The texture is tart and leaves a little residue on the tongue, but it's not unpleasant. I think it is best served on the rocks.

New sake is ready this year too 🍶🎶Shirakawa-go Junmai Nigori Sake. It is very thick. If you cool it down, it doesn't feel so sweet. There is a freshness at the back. The bitterness after the umami is also good. It is good with strong dishes. It is a delicious sake 😊.

After the decisive battle in Sekigahara, we were allowed to taste the nigorigo (a sweet sake).
It was sweeter and tastier than Shirakawa-go, which I had drunk in the past.
