I often see it in commercials, but it's surprisingly new to me. Kizakura.
Light and refreshing. Easy to drink either cold or warmed. It's a cheap packaged sake, but surprisingly not bad.
Sold exclusively at the brewery
Thick and thick, sweet but with a sharp taste!
And yet you can still feel a strong sense of sake.
You can drink it in large gulps... I like it a lot 🤩.
Serious sake made by a major company is good 😋😋.
It's a little late for Grandpa and Grandma's New Year's Day.
On New Year's Day, my grandson Minoru-chan, Minoru-chan and W Minoru-chan were sick with influenza. ✖️
January 11, 10 days late for New Year's Day 🎍.
Old grandson and grandma are very happy to be able to ride unicycles and kick skates.
January 11th is also the anniversary of Kuzo's death.
We held a memorial service for Kyuzo's 7th anniversary 🍶.
The offering was a lovely palm sized bottle of nigori sake 🍶 and sweet and sour yogurt.

Futsu-shu cup sake that is light and smooth in the beginning before transitioning to somewhat tart in the finish. Tasting notes of pineapple and mint make this one refreshing.
God of Sake ⛩️ This is the sake I received at my first visit to the shrine.

I asked about the sake, because it was written as mixed sake, and it seems to be a mixture of various kinds of sake offered to the shrine, 'the brand name is Yellow Cherry Blossom etc.'.

Today I went to Umemiya-taisha Shrine and Matsuo-taisha Shrine in Kyoto, two of the three major sake shrines in Kyoto for Hatsumode (New Year's visit) 😀.
First, Umemiya-taisha shrine: ⛩️
The sake served here was by Gekkeikan 😀.
The sake we bought was from Sasaki Sake Brewery, which has re-labeled the label of their Jyugakudai sake exclusively for the shrine 😀.
I was thrilled because I had just recently had a Shuwakimaseri featuring the main deity of the shrine, Shuwakimaseri 😇.
Next, Matsuo-taisha shrine: ⛩️
It was bigger and had more worshippers than Umemiya-taisha, but still less crowded than other shrines in Kyoto 😇🙏.
The sake is poured from a barrel for 200 yen when you buy a 1,000-yen barrel, and the barrels were owned by Kizakura and Kozutsumi 😇.
The barrels were from Kizakura and Kozutsumi. We purchased two masu to commemorate the occasion and had both of them poured. The aroma of the wood was very fresh and the taste of the sake was more delicious than the sake we usually drink 😀.

It seems that there are quite a few worshippers in Kyoto, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing sake in the precincts of the temple, so it was a good Hatsumode 😇.
On the 11th, we are planning to go from the Bodhi Hashimoto Sake Festival at Shoreki-ji Temple to visit the Ojinja Shrine 😀.
There's an end of the year thing: "Relatives bring old booze."
It's from December 2018 😂It tasted like Shaoxing sake. It's still drinkable because it's a mellow yamahai, but still bring it while it's still good~!

Although most of the major sake breweries have a strong image of being sold in supermarkets, there are many delicious sake to be found in the tasting room!

The yellow cherry blossom kappa can by Kon Shimizu.
It is light and dry, with a hint of sweetness. It has a light and dry taste. The top aroma is apple. It is hot Irohasu.
