Daruma-san is always available at my favorite izakaya that serves kusetsu-tsuyo sake 🪆.
I bought it with the hope that 3 years of aging would make it a versatile player...? I bought it with high hopes 🍶.
As it turns out, it's not so much a versatile sake as it is the best sake when heated lukewarm: ♨️
It has an aroma like caramelized nuts and a rich sweetness that spreads 🥜.
It was perfect with gratin or anything warm and creamy in winter 🐄.
I think even those who have no experience with aged sake can drink this without any resistance. I think this is a bottle that even those who have never experienced aged sake will be able to enjoy it without hesitation 🍶.
I wish I could have photographed it while it was still in its colored contents 😭
After a first visit to a liquor store or a first visit to a department store to buy sake, we went to Ikoma.
A customer gave him a bottle of sake😁.
It's so golden in color after 3 years 😹.
It seems to be aged at room temperature 😅.
It's like the Notoji I drank the other day, but I think this one is more beautiful 🤔.
I drank it cold, but I guess it's generally a heated type of sake, but I thought I'd rather drink it at room temperature.
It's sweet but has a strong sense of maturity, so I guess it's not to everyone's taste 💦.

Brownish yellow color. The aroma is of ripe apples, jasmine, and dry rice. It is mild, with almost no acidity and a touch of sweetness. Alcohol is added.
The 37th sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture.
This is a representative brand of Tsunesuke Shiraki Shoten located in the suburbs of Gifu City.
Purchased directly from the brewery.
The brewing aroma is unique to matured sake. It is very old.
The color is amber. The taste is similar to brown sugar or caramel, with a hint of rice flavor and sweetness.
I think it is good to use it as a sauce for ice cream.
The oldest vintage sake of Daruma Masamune was produced in Showa 46 (1971) and has been aged for 54 years. 200 ml is priced at nearly 50,000 yen. The price for a 200 ml bottle is almost 50,000 yen, 20,000 to 50,000 yen in the Showa era, and 3,500 to 17,000 yen in the Heisei era.
I would like to drink some of my own sake, but I am a little hesitant.
Mellow and mature aroma like caramel.
As it claims to be a "sweet junmai" (pure rice), you can feel the rich sweetness and acidity of the rice.
It may seem heavy at first glance, but it is mild on the palate with a refreshing aftertaste that will keep your hand busy for a long time.
I would like to sip it while enjoying it on a long autumn evening.
three years of maturity
A refreshing drink. The first time you drink it, you will feel the taste of the wine. It's very good! It's so good! Mirin-like. It is thick, sweet and sour. It doesn't have an unpleasant aged feeling. Beautiful. Strong but thin acidity. 90 points

Extras. This is also sake. This is so delicious. I wanted to order it. The light type is said to be a 1998 Kijoshu, but there is also a heavy type "like a black ruby" blended with Kijoshu from Showa 47 and Showa 57. It has a rice polishing ratio of 70% and an alcohol content of 17%.
At Nihon Shu-Tsubaki in Jujo.
Beautiful amber-colored sake.
Warmed sake.
Aroma of old sake.
Deep, full-bodied sweetness and acidity.
Roasted taste.
I like it because it's always delicious.
