Next up was the Ittiki Senzan Comet Nama-no-Hara Sake. The only sake from Gifu that I know of is Ikki Senzan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was a brand that had just been opened. Sake from the Takeshita Brewery, birthplace of former Prime Minister Takeshita. Gorgeous aroma, The fruity flavor is just as the label says. The sweetness is reminiscent of pineapple, The sweetness reminds one of pineapple, and gradually the bitterness appears and disappears. We are invited to the head office to have a good drink after a not-so-fun work day. The head office is far away and uncomfortable, so we are bersassa. The specs are the same. Bouken-san told me about it before, and I've become a fan of Watashibune's new sake 😚. But it's made with 100% short-stemmed Watashibune. I think this brand is as good as my favorite Genmai which I opened just before. The aroma is like a grape🍇, and in the mouth you can feel a very thin gas and a gentle sweetness. The aroma and taste are well integrated, and the transparent flavor fades out with a slight bitterness, which is brilliant 😆. Today I paired it with a yose-nabe with agaric broth, and the complex broth of the seafood and the flavor of this sake matched so strangely that I could really linger and eat and drink forever... It's still Monday, so I had to call it quits 😅.
