Tenma Taishukai 2024 ④ The day before, I tasted Sakakamatsu from this brewery at a liquor store in Ikuno Ward. He asked me if I was going to the Tenma Sake Festival. The first Toyoshu in a long time is a pure rice sake brewed with the Yamanokami yeast derived from sasayuri (a kind of lily of the valley) that blooms in the sacred grounds of the Ogami Shrine, a sacred place for sake. If you are a sake drinker in Nara, you must try this 😁. Perhaps it was because I was used to light and fruity junmai sake, but it was alcoholic, not too sweet, and had a firm mouthfeel. Today is the last day in Nara. I went on a tour of temples and shrines in Kyoto with an old friend. ⛩️ We got an earthquake notification just before we arrived at the station and passed through Sumizome station 😅 We met up at Fujimori Shrine. Usually it is a soba restaurant, but there is a line for soba restaurant😳 On the way, we saw a line for tempura restaurant and went to the mouth of tempura 🤭. We wandered around Sanjo and Shijo and finally found tempura. Why is the tempura at the restaurant so delicious 😋? For sake, we chose kunidrop. It was a clear, dry and easy to drink sake 🍶.
