A colleague at work said that only nigori (cloudy) sake would win.
I warned him that it was not the nigori-style sake that I like.
It was slightly white.
As the name "summer nigori" suggests, it has a refreshing acidity. It is easy to drink and has a gentle taste on the palate.
My colleague said it was different from the muddiness he was expecting. However, they seriously learned that there is such a thing as this.

I know - dry!
But the sake-like quality is... less acidic?
This is fine, less is more...! That's a nice change of pace!

Kido is my favorite sake.
It's refreshing and not too sweet.
Quick and clean.
It was a little early for summer sake at this time of year, so I'd like to drink it again when the weather gets hotter.
This summer Yago Blue was so good that I went on a little expedition to look for pink Yago. We caught it and opened a bottle of this one.
It has a fresh acidity like biting into a lime, and a crisp, clean flavor. When we paired it with marinated bonito and olive oil, the fresh aroma of the olives mingled pleasantly and we applauded. With an alcohol content of only 13%, it is perfect as a pre-dinner or mid-dinner drink.
A great bottle to accompany you at the beginning of a sweaty summer. Delicious: โผ๏ธ

When I find this label at a liquor store, I feel the beginning of early summer. I opened a bottle of Izumihashi Summer Yago Blue for my partner for a little luxurious lunchtime drinking.
It is a junmai sake with a light and refreshing taste, but with a rich and delicious flavor that lingers on the tongue. I have been drinking it for the past few years, but isn't this year's sake delicious?
Losing out to the heat during the day, I took a quick bite of kimchi with somen noodles as a chopstick rest. I was surprised at how well it went with the sourness of the kimchi.

Pond turtles are good.
This is the first time to see this one, and it's also hot, so I thought raw would be good too, so I bought it.
It has a very light and refreshing taste, but it has a very strong spiciness and a very strong umami taste.
It has a lot of elements that make you want to drink it.
It can also be heated.
Some of the nama sake can be too strong, but this sake is light, so it goes well with it.
I liked how the astringency came out well.
Mr. Mitamura went to Arashiyama

This is my first time in Ikegame๐ข.
First day of drinking
The first aroma is sweet with a hint of sweetness.
It is bitter in the mouth... ๐ฅน.
I can only taste a little bit of umami and sweetness behind the bitterness... ๐ฅฒ.
I decided to leave it for a few days anyway.
On the third day, I drank it with trepidation and found that the bitterness that was so bitter had somehow disappeared.
Was it because I was sick? ๐ค
The first aroma is faintly sweet.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel a light sweetness with umami flavor, and it goes down smoothly and cleanly.
It was a delicious sake with a clean and clear taste for a low 75% rice polished sake.
I would like to try Kurokabuto next, but I guess that is impossible in Tokyo.
