Yesterday, I was driven from my eldest son's wife's parents' house in Saga to Hakata where we are staying at a hotel. My eldest son is staying at his wife's house, so he left and my second son joined him instead. The six of us, my daughter and her husband, and the baby, went to a motsunabe restaurant that we had reserved 🍲.

I later looked it up on the internet and found that Kitahara Hakushu liked to drink it and even wrote letters on it!
Soft and gentle?
It's a little sweet, but it's refreshing.
It doesn't interfere with food and goes down smoothly.
We had a late lunch (and cake) until 4pm and then had motsu-nabe from 5pm!
For that, I ate okay 🤣.
