My daughter in Izumo sent me a bottle of sake as a birthday present. She went on a trip to Kurayoshi in Tottori Prefecture and bought it at a sake brewery 🍶. She went to Kurayoshi in Tottori Prefecture and bought it at a sake brewery. Genshu, first time to drink it. Tastes like rice Gentle rice sweetness 🍚. It's refreshing, and if I had to guess, it's more of a dry type, but there's almost no sourness. I think I haven't had a sake like this in a long time. I had never heard of this sake, but it is delicious 😋. My wife and my second son sent me some choko (cups)...they are all sake related... 😂. No, my eldest son and his wife sent me tennis and bicycle caps and a holder for my bicycle. So my daily life = tennis, biking, and drinking? I guess it fits 🤣. Thanks guys 🥰.

Thank you very much, Attached God 😊. This was the first time I drank Gensho, and the taste of the rice was straight forward 😋. The picture of the brewery that came from my daughter looked like a nice old-fashioned style place. Looking forward to it 🥳.

I wasn't supposed to drink (sake) today. It's a little early, but my eldest son and his wife are throwing me a birthday party! The place was a hot pot restaurant 🔥 (Kawasaki branch) This restaurant is a global chain? Looks like a global chain. It's a big restaurant, but almost all the staff and customers are Chinese! And for some reason, there was sake 😳 in such a restaurant! I was going to not drink it because it didn't seem to go well with my meal, but I started to feel good and had one last drink! Kubota Senju Because I ate too much spicy food? I can't really taste it 🤣. But sweet and sour, not too strong? Dry? I think it's refreshing. It's Kubota, so I think it's light and refreshing 😆 I'm sure of it! I know it's a crappy comment, but 😝... And they refused to take a picture of the bottle! (I'm sure it's Kubota, so I'm pretty sure it's Awaii!) I had a great time and received gifts from my wife and younger children who were not there 😚. So I forced myself to upload them! Sorry if you have read this far!

A while ago, I visited a liquor store in Nagoya? Visited a liquor store in They had a pretty good selection! There were a lot of things I wanted to buy, but since I was there, I went to the Aichi sake corner! I was curious about this one, but had never had it before, so I took it home with me. There were about 3 kinds of sake, but I wasn't sure what they were, so I went with the one called Harukageiro (a little muddy), which was the only one left. I thought "fewer, more popular, more popular, tastier" 🤣. I started with a little top clear because there is a little lees sinking in. I can taste the sweetness, but the acidity has more impact. A little bit of a schwash! Now, when you mix it, it becomes a little mellower? Gentle sweetness and acidity are pleasant 😋 Delicious! Not that it matters, but I went to the Meguro River yesterday and found that the cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom🌸.
Japanese>English

Good morning, Mr. Takashi! Cherry blossoms are beautiful🌸 Decreasing -> Selling -> Popular was interesting as my wife often says 😁✨. Gentle sweet and sour is my favorite so I'm very interested 😋.
Japanese>English
Takashi
Good morning, ma-ki-San 😊. I got off the train on the way to the station and saw that the cherry blossoms were growing very well 🌸Lucky me 🤩. I bought a bottle thinking it was probably this one, but I haven't compared them! I bought it, but I haven't compared the drinks, so I don't know if this hypothesis is correct or not 🤣.
Japanese>English
ジェイ&ノビィ
Hi Takashi 😃 I'm sure Takashi is right with your theory 🤗Be careful with the sake that you don't know the name of it at all, sometimes a few left = unsold and old 😓😆Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo 😍.
Japanese>English
Takashi
Hi Jay & Nobby😊. Yes 😆 there is a pattern of unsold items 😅 be careful 😅🚧. The cherry blossoms along the river near my house were only about half bloomed, but along the Meguro river in Tokyo, they were in full bloom🌸, so early! I thought 😲.

Gifu All-you-can-drink (6) There are still some I haven't had yet! Next, the floats! Abelia flower yeast! I don't know what abelia is to begin with, but I saw it online and it's white and dainty 😘. Soft sweet, fruity 😋. Sweet strawberries? Not quite? Acidity, not so much. Gentle This brewery seems to make sake with various kinds of flower yeast 🥳. Time to think about what to drink in the remaining time 🤔Today, let's go without trying so hard 😝. P.S. I drank a little more, but I couldn't give any more to the sake crocodile because I gave too much, so this is the last one 🤣.

Gifu All-you-can-drink (5) The next sake is also a first time drinker! Nihon Izumi Namazumi Nigori Nama Sake There seems to be a sake brewery in front of Gifu station, so I thought I'd go there once, but I haven't done so yet😣. The name is pretty traditional, but? It's a little different when you drink it 😆. This is nigori, not too cloudy (the glass), they poured the top clear part? 😅 But the schwash comes quite a bit. It's kind of thick. Alcohol is also 18 degrees! It's got a sourness to it too. I'd like to drink more mixed with oli, but it's hard to order that much from the store 😅.

Gifu All-you-can-drink④ This is also a first time drinker! Mino Tengu White Koji Junmai Yu From the name (excuse me!) The bottle design is more stylish than the image! White malted rice, wine-like? Soft sweetness Slightly fruity A little fruity 😋. Low alcohol content and goes down smoothly Hard to keep up the pace of eating and ordering drinks 😆. I eat and drink so fast that it will be gone in no time 🤣.

Gifu All-you-can-drink (3) The third drink is also my first drink, Hanazakari Shizuku! It seems like I drank a lot of Gifu's sake but I didn't drink a lot of Gifu's sake😅. This one is a bit strong, does it stay on the tongue? It tastes a bit strong too. The acidity is not that strong. And it's sweet, but not too strong. It's quite tasty. It's "Gohyakumangoku" but not too light? It's a nice taste.

This one is fresh💦. Slightly cloudy And it tastes more robust than the Tamakashiwa I just had! And the alcohol is 17 degrees Delicious 😋. Can we go at this pace? I don't know 😆. If I go too fast, will the store owner think I'm being too greedy? I need to save a little 🤣.

Gifu All-you-can-drink ① A business trip to Yamaguchi and then to Gifu the next day! Both of us have ongoing projects, so we go there regularly, but this pattern is rare! I made it into Gifu without too much delay, so we decided to go out for a drink. Work in Yamaguchi is still going on, but Gifu has come to an end. I may come here on a spot basis, but not at the rate of 2-4 times a month or so like before. So? Let's go 😁. Gifu all-you-can-drink local sake 🤣1 hour, 2000 yen! Isn't that cheap? I've had a lot of Gifu sake, but I haven't had it yet 😆. The first one is Kai Kai, stylish bottle 😘. I've been curious about this one, but haven't tried it yet! It's sweet and sour on the palate 😋. It goes smoothly, refreshing and soft. This is recommended to be served cold with snow, so on the rocks! It's low al and it's gone in a moment 🤣.

Shin-Yamaguchi 2 For my second drink in Shin-Yamaguchi, I was torn between 🤔 and Nagato Gorge. Yamaguchi's sake is fascinating (Toyo Bijin? Gotohashi? Ki? Ganki? ...), but I decided to go for my first one! I've had Nagato Gorge a few times, but this is my first time! Clear! Clear. Dry, but with a hint of sweetness. A little sweeter than the Kaho no Sato I had earlier? I usually try not to eat too many calories (no lie), but when I eat out, I eat too much🤣I ate too much today too😅. This place is pretty good, I might go back!

Shin-Yamaguchi 1) Tomorrow I have to work in Shin-Yamaguchi, so I stayed the night before. I decided to go to a restaurant I had never been to before, but it was closed. So I went to the next restaurant, which was also new to me! Oh, I didn't know what kind of sake they had! I didn't know about this sake! Kahonosato Sake made in Kagawa, Yamaguchi City, with rice (Yamadanishiki) from Kagawa, water, and a sake brewery (Kinko's Sake Brewery, which makes Yamato-nishiki), as well as to revitalize the town! When you drink it, does it leave a slight sour taste on your tongue? It's refreshing. I guess it's dry, but a little soft? Nice 😘 This restaurant has a lot of chicken dishes (and I ordered too many fried ones), so it might go well with them 😋.

Yesterday, I had my annual Noge drink with two high school classmates (is the interval too short these days? 😅) First, we got in line at our favorite sushi izakaya at 12:00pm! After drinking beer and other drinks, the first sake was Bakuren I feel like it's been a while since I've had it. Dry and refreshing! The alcohol content is high, but it goes down smoothly. This place is really cheap and delicious! It makes me want to drink more (excuse 🤣) The second drink of the day was Sawaya Matsumoto and the third was Ki! Yesterday, as expected, I drank too much 😵. Usually I finish after 3 or 4 drinks, but I ended up going to 5 (and still finished by 7pm 🤣). My memory is hazy on the last part of yesterday, but as usual, I went to bed and felt refreshed this morning. But I think I'll take a rest day today 🥴.

A liquor store I've cycled to a few times. They only carry original sake (apparently, I haven't checked 😅). A bit funny? Uncle's particular store. On this day, I had this Imanishiki Shiboritate Nama-nihan-shu (freshly brewed) The sweetness of the rice? It's fresh with a bit of acidity. Fresh with a bit of sourness✨. It's 18%, but it's smooth. But it also has a solid feel to it Delicious 😋. It seems that Ina Shokuhin Kogyo of Kanten Papa has taken over the business. I visited Ina Foods a few years ago and got the impression that it was a very nice company. The management and employees were great, but there was something about the atmosphere of the company that was great! I would like to support them in my feelings!

Launch at Jiyugaoka (6) I gave a little too much 😅. The last sake of the day was Yonesuru Junmai Ginjo No. 34 It is the 34th brewed in the year, and it seems to be the number for the tome-brewing on New Year's Day every year! Gentle and fresh. Sweet, yet refreshing. Fruity, with a touch of sourness. My notes are getting more and more confusing 😵. It was another day of thank yous for the delicious sake and food with my friends after a successful day of work and a thank you for asking me to come back next year 😄. So, today is a national holiday, but I'm traveling for work! I have to do my best and get some good local sake! (Not where I'm going to work hard 🤣)

Launch at Jiyugaoka (5) The fifth drink was Echigo Den'emon Gozu! Unique label, first time to drink! I found on the internet that the number "5" has various meanings. It seems to be made by polishing 50% of "Gohyakumangoku", Life goes on.(Life GOZ on.) It is an ironic subculture that expresses positivity, akin to resignation toward one's own life, which is full of peaks and valleys, but one still has to live on (according to the producer's data), Is it a little muddy? A little soft. A touch of sweetness Fresh acidity

My wife's mother who lives in Takamatsu sometimes sends us Kinryo. This time it was the first time for us to try the Usu Nigori "Mato". Tasted the top clear layer first 😋. Soft sweetness, a bit apple? (According to the label on the back 😆) Next, mix it with the oli that has accumulated at the bottom, The taste becomes a little stronger? A little sourness, slight bitterness. More grapefruit than apple? The sourness and bitterness are not that strong, But it also tastes sweeter? It seems to be sweeter. This is a soft and delicious sake. I feel like everyone in my family gives me sake. Thank you 🙇.
