I am now hooked on Izakaya Shinkansen. Mr. Ota and Mr. Yoshida are good, but Mr. Mashima is also good. The other day, I bought a bottle of Urakasumi Sandeshi fresh-stored sake when I was in Naruko. It is a slightly better sake found in popular izakaya, a fresh stored sake. I used to be a Junmai (pure rice) drinker, but after drinking a lot of Honjozo sake at a bar in Sendai, I decided that Honjozo sake is not to be underestimated. Yaito bonito for cold sake. Sake of the sea, fish. A well-balanced, slightly sweet, soft sake, like a traditional sake. It has a nice sharpness when well chilled. No complaints, a good, tasty sake.
