I took a vacation and came to Akita to visit.
Akita is also known for Takashimizu.
I bought some manjuu (steamed buns) and a cup of sake at a kiosk.
It was one cup, but it was unfiltered pure rice. It was a mellow, dry sake, chilled to a crisp on the heated bullet train. The rough flavor is delicious, as it is unfiltered. I have only had cheap Takashimizu, and I had the image of a commoner's pale dry sake, but this sake is good. It is full of umami, and the quality of the sake is clearly conveyed.
Yamabuki manju, which seems to be famous in Akita, is too good. The white bean paste is delicious.
Now, it was time for a hot spring bath.

乳頭温泉、何度か行きましたが雪深い中あったまってほこほこしながら浴衣で湯めぐりして、素晴らしい温泉ですよね🥳また行きたいなぁ♨️
