I can't wait to get into summer so we can keep moving forward. A bottle from the April hanpukai at Sumino Sake Shop. They had a standard product directly pumped for the hanpukai. It is slightly carbonated and has a sweetness like wasanbon and a bitterness like grapefruit. The aftertaste may be a bit tangy due to the alcohol. 720 mL ¥ 1,815

500 check-in is the bastard son of a 14yo dragon that I drank on my birthday 🐉(I checked in a little ahead of time, sorry for the adjustment💦) A bottle of Sumino Sake Shop January hanpukai 🍶. I was so surprised to find such a good bottle in the hanpukai that I opened it on my birthday after waiting for half a year 🍾 (The brewer recommended drinking it within 3 months, but...) We had it for dinner at a hotel in Sasayama, where we rented a whole house, as a digital detox ✨. Needless to say, it tasted like a classy pineapple, and the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness was one that I once again feel is a key point that no other can imitate 🍍. Surrounded by mountains and listening to the birds, it was a relaxing moment for me, even though I am from the countryside, to just zone out and think about nothing 🐧. Fireflies were flying at night, and since I hadn't seen them since I was a child, I couldn't sleep at night because I was so fascinated by them 💧. I heard that if the sky is clear, the stars are also beautiful, so I would like to visit again in the fall. ✴︎ 720 mL ¥ 6,123

It is a bit schwiffy and has a grapefruit aroma, but leaves a bitter taste that clings a bit to the tongue. One of the May hanpukai from Sumino Sake Shop. I thought it was Oroku from its appearance, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Jogei. I still don't know the difference between Oroku and Jogi label, but it was grapefruity and tasty anyway, so that's good👍. There are still many varieties of this brand 💨. but I'm concerned that it's a little expensive due to refrigerated storage costs💦. 720 mL ¥ 2,640

It flows with a schwirling, apricot-like aroma and a slight bitterness and sourness. Finally, there is a slightly classical aroma. At a recent off-line meeting, I had heard that "Shikishima is peculiar," so I opened the bottle with trepidation 🍾. It was not as much as I thought it would be, if anything it tasted similar to Honkin Yamae Nishiki, which I personally liked✨. I'm glad I bought it because of the image conveyed by the orange on the label👍 Sake no Kotobuki 720 mL ¥ 1,760

The soft sweetness spreads softly on the tongue and an apricot-like aroma escapes. One of my personal favorites of this season's Honkin, and a great cosmetic ✨. There are several brands of sake rice that interest me, one of which is Hakutsuru Nishiki 🌾. I like Hakutsuru Sake Brewery's enthusiasm to bring the seriousness of a major company to local sake 👍. This time we had the Toichi version. It has a sweetness that clings to the tongue and flows with a touch of bitterness. Surprisingly mineral and robust. I drank it with dumplings and it was gone immediately 🥟. 720 mL ¥ 2,100

10 minutes after almost spurting out the schwag. The melon flows smoothly without any sweetness and bitterness 🍈. One of Sumino Sake Shop's March hanpukai. Snoqualmie drinking comparison: Yuyamanishiki version 📝. Half a year after the first Yamada-Nishiki, the last Yuyamanishiki was released 🌾 when I was thinking that there were three types of Snoklet as I recall. This one has the impression of sweetness followed by a strong acidity. The acidity tightens it up, making it a perfect bottle for this hot season👍. After comparing 3 types of wine, I personally think Sagabiyori>Oyamanishiki>Yamadanishiki I personally think that the order is Which was your favorite this season? 720 mL ¥ 1,925

Sagabiyori is a famous variety of rice from Saga Prefecture, and I remember eating it as rice, and it was very tasty with a sweet taste ✨. Snoclet drinking comparison Yamadanishiki version 📝. Every year when Snoqualmie is released, I've always wanted to compare them, and this year I got to do it ✨. The first one was Yamadanishiki, which I managed to buy after going through the Oomune's solicitation for a strong sake 💧. As you can imagine from Yamada Nishiki, it's not too sweet and flows smoothly 💨. It's dry, so I drank it with sashimi and it went down a treat 🐟. 720 mL ¥ 2,063

Report 10📝 on Mr. Gura's welcome party The last? is my personal favorite summer sake in Sanin, Gassan🍉. It flows like water and is not sticky at all. I think I drank a few others as we moved around the table, but I have no further record of them 💧. This time we had plans for later, so Gula and I said we'd see each other again in Fukuoka and split up ✨. It was an offline meeting where I was able to drink brands that I don't drink myself and was inspired once again 💡.

I will do my best to pack it in during the Bon 💨 Here is a report on the welcome party for Gula, who came to Osaka again this year in June: ✏️ The last Kansai Chapter New Year's party was held at Uncle and Sake 🏬. When I got off at Higobashi station, I was in a bit of a hurry as it looked like I was just in time for the meeting, and I met up with Nemuchi-san. After that, we were seated close to each other and he told me "There's hana-yosu ❗️" and I said "That's nice!" and we ended up toasting sake 💡.
