I saw it on a liquor store's installment and was completely unfamiliar with the brand, so I searched for it on Sake no Wa and found that Greissinger19 was drinking it, so I bought it. Strong gasiness. Dry, clean and sweet. Cider-like with peach and lychee flavors. Lightly sweet as written. The acidity is beautiful and the bitterness at the end is pleasant. A better sake than expected.

The Osato Sake Brewery is located in Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I didn't know about this place until I came to Fukuzo. I checked and there is a Kanbokuto Brewery nearby ✨. The first aroma is faintly sweet. In the mouth, there is a refreshing acidity and juicy sweetness typical of white malted rice. It is followed by a slight astringency that finishes it off. The refreshing acidity is quite delicious.

The last sake I purchased on my GW Niigata trip. I opened Hishiko. As stated on the label, it had a mellow sweet sake quality that brought out the aroma of the yeast, the umami of the rice, and a beautiful sweetness. It has a clean aftertaste, making it an excellent choice as a mealtime sake. I would like to try it again on my wonderful trip to Niigata.

Iwate is often named after the pure-heartedness of the Tohoku region or after Kenji Miyazawa, and the rice is Gintome, which is a Gin user.
