The last sake I purchased on my GW Niigata trip. I opened Hishiko. As stated on the label, it had a mellow sweet sake quality that brought out the aroma of the yeast, the umami of the rice, and a beautiful sweetness.
It has a clean aftertaste, making it an excellent choice as a mealtime sake. I would like to try it again on my wonderful trip to Niigata.
