I bought the jackets on a trip to Iwate. I was attracted to it because I had never seen it before and because of the distinctive name of the yeast. I did some research and found out that in Iwate, there are yeasts for Iwate breweries, such as Giovanni's Research and Yuko's Thoughts. Differentiation, I guess.
I was told that this yeast produces a soft and warm flavor, and my impression was that this was true.
I felt the core of the sake and the softness that soaks into the body. It was a pretty tasty sake. If I drank it blind, I might say it was my favorite. If I see you again, I'll buy it immediately.
Souvenir from Iwate
Not much standing aroma, but the overtone is strong. It has a dark, fruity, banana-like flavor. It is a darker, more umami type of sake than the blue label sake we had previously.

National Sake Fair 2025(´¦)
Dry sake with very active acidity.
Impressive sharpness and freshness.
Also, I think Senryo Otokoyama needs to be heated to fully appreciate its full potential, so I'll hold off on commenting on that.
I also had some Yamakita Junmai Daiginjo and Washinoo Kizunokou, but the shochu was starting to kick in and I was talking too much, so I don't really remember them, so I'm reserving comment!

This sake has a strong umami flavor. It also has acidity. The umami lingers in the aftertaste. There is almost no sweetness.

Tasting event at Okayama Sake Shop (11)
This time it was an orange label with orikarami 😊.
There were different colored labels last time and the time before.
Liquor Shop Okayama Tasting Yield ⑬
Hyakuban, which you can only find here. I'm always thinking about buying it when I come here, so I'm glad I got to taste it. The tasting order was a bit earlier, but I forgot 😓.
Hyakuban Junmai Ginjyo Orikigarami Nama-nara Sake.
There was a hint of orikori. It has a silky sweetness and a bit of bitterness that is not too assertive.
I would like to try other kinds of sake because they are also colorful labels.
