My parents-in-law gave me this sake as a souvenir from Tanba Sasayama. It's a completely unknown brand, so I was very nervous when I opened the bottle. Maybe it's because we've been drinking a lot of autumn sake lately, but it's surprisingly refreshing 😳 You can drink it easily without getting stuck. It has a faint sourness and a spiciness that comes afterwards, and then it goes away quickly. It's a sake made with clean water that goes well with all kinds of food. We enjoyed it with pork kimchi and horse mackerel sashimi. I want to drink it carefully, but it will probably be gone in two days☺️.

I saw Sanad and Nemuchi rave about this brand a long time ago, and it was on my list of things to drink. The sweet and gentle aroma is pleasant. Snowy Matsushima, a gift This type of sake comes in a box with an ostentatious string tied around the neck of the bottle. I bought it at the Kasumi Sosa store of the supermarket. To put it bluntly, it is a label purchase (laugh). Opened at room temperature, taste is so-called "umakuchi dry"? It seems to emphasize the sake-like quality more than the light dry sake. It is supposed to be junmai sake, but it seemed to have the atmosphere of a honjozo sake that contains brewing alcohol. It's too early to tell, but I'm looking forward to a summer sake on the rocks, and this time I'll have a glass of the standard warmed sake 🍶. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was freshly cooked and fluffy, like rice cakes or rice. It is a four-step glutinous rice brewing process. The mouthfeel is smooth like Gunma sake, but gradually a gentle and deep sweetness like sugar or spuds spreads gradually. When heated, it has a full-bodied, rice-like flavor. The sweetness is not too strong, but rather relaxing. Perfect for enjoying in the colder months. The sweetness itself is more subdued than the normal type, but on the other hand, you can fully enjoy the cleanliness that is typical of Gunma sake, which is a good balance!

As the summer is drawing to a close (the heat is still on), I opened a bottle of "Katsuragawa" sake on the rocks, which I was looking forward to drinking again this year! And the back of the bottle is falling apart due to condensation again😇. When we opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was sweet and fluffy, typical of "Katsuragawa". It is a bit sour and comes in through the nose as if it is cold on the rocks. The mouthfeel has a pettiness by default, but on the rocks it is smooth and silky. It has a fluffy aroma like sweet rice crackers and a syrupy sweetness of shaved ice. As the ice melts, it becomes lighter and more enjoyable ✨. The lingering finish has a slightly tangy, spicy acidity and a tropical fruitiness, and the smart finish keeps the saké going! While listening to the chirping of autumn insects 🍶. I think it's time to open a bottle of "Akagisan" summer sake!

It was the day of Tachibana StampVal, so I went to only Ikoma among many stores participating in the event. I don't always go to other shops😅. I thought I was drinking it for the first time, but it looks like I had it last year at Harukas😅. It has a beautiful taste without a strong sense of maturity. Very easy to drink hiyaoroshi 😋. I've always wondered which came first, former Takarazuka Revue troupe member and singer Koshiji Fubiyuki or Koshiji Fubiyuki, but it seems Koshiji Fubiyuki's brand started in 1991!

I bought it by weight the day after the Hankai Train Off-line Meeting. I took this opportunity to buy it because Miyakotsuru's draft sake is rarely distributed. This is an annex of a store in Fushimi that sells all of Fushimi's sake in Nihonbashi, Osaka. I wonder if the sake brewers' association is involved? The bottles come in various sizes and labels, and you buy the bottle you want and pour it. You pour the sake yourself, but since I was right on the 300 ml mark, I received a sake cup as a "Pitari" prize. The taste is melon-like with a clean mouthfeel. The long, thin and extended acidity is impressive. It is a little light and has a sweet and spicy flavor. After about a week, the flavor seems to have opened up, or rather, the flavor profile has become more defined.

Go-around Rokkomichi 1/5 It was my first time to participate in a go-around! I was excited and thrilled from the morning. I couldn't work today... lol. It was like a field trip for adults. I visited 5 stores in the Rokko-michi area in Kobe! First of all, here is the shaken sake. As I stood nervously at the counter, my neighbor spoke to me. He said, "How many restaurants have you been to?" I said, "This is the first one. It's kind of nice, isn't it? This is my first time drinking Miyakotsuru. It is very dry. It is light. I asked for breast meat with kombu-jime egg yolk and chicken skin with wasabi and soy sauce. I thought it was a little strong. But it goes well with sake!
