At home. My first Kamo Nishikishu. Almost no aroma. Slightly carbonated and alcoholic in the mouth. It has acidity and umami, but the bitterness is strong at the end. I'll try to warm it up a little and see if the taste changes after tomorrow.

Good evening, it's 18 Mori from Okayama prefecture in your first series ✨. We've had a few Asahi rice sakes, but what about this one? First, before the ogara-mi, the pinapple and the gas are combined with an impressive bitterness on the back end 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋. After the ogara-mi, it is silky and full-bodied and even more delicious 🤗 The rice is different, but it's somewhere between Kahayohaku and Sanchi 💮.

A 1-goupe bottle that I had gotten at Yamada-san, a sake dealer in Ikebukuro Seibu. I check the small refrigerator near the cash register, which is mainly small bottles, every time I go there. It is Kamerei Mannen from Hiroshima🐢. The classical texture gives it a ginjo-shu feel.

I had always wanted to come to this restaurant, Jyu. It was a nice place. The sake I chose was Dokure, which is labeled as an amazing sake from Kure. At first sip, I felt a slight sourness, but when paired with food, it was very good. As one would expect from a master brewer, he made the sake he wanted to make himself. This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. I️ would like to visit Funao Falls too!

After a few drinks, it was quite late, so I headed home while eating a golden dharma bento commemorating the 140th anniversary of Takasaki Station. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. The taste is smooth and silky, and while it has a Gunma sake-like quality, it tastes more like a sweet sake derived from brewer's alcohol. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is a perfect match for ekiben (boxed lunches), with its unobtrusiveness, slight sweetness, and crispness!
