This is the last bottle of the 6 bottles of Saga sake I bought. This is "Matsuura Ichi Special Junmai" that Taguri Sake Brewery specially orders from the brewery.
The label is retro, but the balance is gentle and not too sweet. The image is that of a less sweet Nabeshima, but slightly more sake-like and rounded.
It is good heated from room temperature in winter... Tonight's "tai shabu" will go well with it.
I have never had much luck with Saga sake, but it's good! Everything was delicious. Thanks for the food 😋.

Matsuura Ichi was recommended to me by a liquor store when I mentioned that Nabeshima was my favorite flavor.
I bought it because it was a draft sake and because it was recommended at another store.
It was a very smooth, sweet sake that went down very well.
I would recommend this sake to anyone who likes sweet sake.
