The first Minakata I've had in probably 3 years, given to me in a 300ml bottle ☺️The 4-pack bottle has a picture of Minakata Kumagusu and the brand story on it, but with 300ml there's no room for that... 😅.
It has a thin banana 🍌 aroma with a slight tang of alcohol behind it.
After a slightly sweet attack, the aftertaste is a good mix of bitterness, sourness and spiciness. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts quite long. It will go well with both meat and fish without any conflict.
The quality of the sake is similar to Kido's Junmai Ginjo.
Is it because it is a sake from Wakayama Prefecture?
