I've never seen a sake brewery before. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but it's a good thing. It's a good sake that is easy to drink. The next drink was a Tokujiro for Joyo's distributor? Tokujiro I drank Joyo several times, but this was my first time to drink Tokujiro. I happened to see on a restaurant instagram I follow that Tokujiro was originally a joint product between a Hirakata liquor store and the Joyo Brewery. It's unfiltered, once-bottled, and heated. It's fire-brewed, but it's still slightly effervescent and has a fresh, mellow rice flavor that's really tasty 😋. I'll buy Tokujiro next time I see it.

Comparison of nigori sake from Wakayama's favorite brands (1) We compared nigori sake from two of our favorite brands, Minakata and Chokyu. First, let's start with Minakata 😄. The first one has a fresh and fruity aroma like apples and a strong fizzy feeling. It has a full, sweet flavor and a crisp, refreshing taste, and is just as delicious as one would imagine 😍. It's been quite a while since I've had Nanpo, but I don't remember it ever being out of place and I think it's a good brand with a high level of quality 😁.

The first Minakata I've had in probably 3 years, given to me in a 300ml bottle ☺️The 4-pack bottle has a picture of Minakata Kumagusu and the brand story on it, but with 300ml there's no room for that... 😅. It has a thin banana 🍌 aroma with a slight tang of alcohol behind it. After a slightly sweet attack, the aftertaste is a good mix of bitterness, sourness and spiciness. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts quite long. It will go well with both meat and fish without any conflict. The quality of the sake is similar to Kido's Junmai Ginjo. Is it because it is a sake from Wakayama Prefecture?

At home. This is the last in the Shiga Sake series. It has a gorgeous aroma, sweetness and acidity in the mouth, and a very refreshing taste that finishes with a light bitterness. I had three kinds of Shiga Sake, Taga, Laughing Season, and Nikkoku-Tsuchisei, and I would like to try the other kinds again.
