I started with a beer and then opened a bottle of "Hanagaki Ginjo" that my father-in-law gave me for New Year's. After the refreshing sweetness that is typical of Hanagaki, the umami flavor spreads out, leading directly to the rich aftertaste. It is relatively sweeter than most of Fukui's local sake, but it has no peculiarities and is easy to drink 😉. I'll have to consume it little by little since my cellar is overloaded with more sake from the New Year's holiday including this one 😁.

Drinking with my wife on our wedding anniversary last week, when we visited Tsushima Tsuru at the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing (laughs). I tried three types of draft sake at a tasting and sale of Drunken Sen in Hankyu. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, the Honjozo Nama, even though I searched for it.
