Next up was the Ittiki Senzan Comet Nama-no-Hara Sake. The only sake from Gifu that I know of is Ikki Senzan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was a brand that had just been opened. I was able to get some free time during the day, so I went to the gym and worked out for an hour, then went straight to the bathhouse and had a nice, wide bathtub, and then had a long-overdue dinner. I started with a beer and then opened a bottle of "Hanagaki Ginjo" that my father-in-law gave me for New Year's. After the refreshing sweetness that is typical of Hanagaki, the umami flavor spreads out, leading directly to the rich aftertaste. It is relatively sweeter than most of Fukui's local sake, but it has no peculiarities and is easy to drink 😉. I'll have to consume it little by little since my cellar is overloaded with more sake from the New Year's holiday including this one 😁.

I was so impressed with the obvious taste of STAR GAIZER last year that I got carried away and bought two bottles this year! The clarity is amazing!
