The sake has been dry for a while, but let's have a sake with a very dry sake degree of +20 🎵Nagaragawa is basically dry 🤔Oh, it's spicy! Spicy is spicy, but the taste makes you wonder if it has a sake degree of +20 ❗It's not just spicy, it's a professional's job to give it character 😌.

Nagara River booth. It is not sold outside of the prefecture, so I guess it is a rare brewery to see in the Kansai region. I was a bit intimidated by the dryness of the sake, but when I tried it, I found it wasn't too hot. I think they were all refreshing.

Purchased at Okadaya, Nagoya Sake Rice used is Hidahomare. It is a so-called summer sake, and is said to be aged for one year. It does not have a matured feel and has a mild mouthfeel. It is refreshing as a summer sake should be, and the umami is clearly conveyed. It is easy to drink when cooled down to a crisp. The label is designed by a famous person? It's a cool design.

Purchased at Kintetsu Department Store event, Sake Tour. I compared it with Junmai Ginjo and was impressed with this one, so I bought it. Fresh and citrusy? It is sweet at the beginning, but the sweetness and umami come in the second half of the bottle. I have to admit that I've only seen Hyo Hyohi at department store events. Apparently, the brewery that makes the sake is in Awa City, which is different from the address on the label.

When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was dry. It also has a savory aroma like steamed rice. The dry, light flavor and the richness of Junmai are well balanced on the palate, giving it a slippery sensation. The acidity also makes it taste slightly citrus-like 🍊. It smells like ginjo, and in a good way, it is not like Junmai! The aftertaste is also refreshing and easy to drink from start to finish👍. I thought it would be a simple dry sake, but it was surprisingly fruity and refreshingly delicious!

This is a unit work of three breweries in Joetsu: Katafune (Takeda Sake Brewery), Koshiji-no-Kenbai (Kubiki Shuzo), and Chiyonomitsu (Chiyonomitsu Sake Brewery). Kura-kept yeast, fresh yeast, and shibari. The proprietor introduced that there is a new trial in Niigata as well. Delicious! It starts with a light sweetness, followed by acidity and a sharp bitterness. This complexity is good. I couldn't take my eyes off of the sake from Joetsu. There is a recommendation from Takeda Shuzo on the back label, which is also interesting.
