Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. This is the first time I learned about this brewery at this event. It seems that Tochigi produces more shochu than sake. It was delicious, with a unique and robust sweetness, but I was attracted by the strawberry yeast 😅.

For me, it's a very interesting sake! The first day I opened the bottle, I thought it might be too peculiar to pair with a meal. If you roll it around in your mouth, it is a nicely aged sake, but if you drink it with gusto, you can drink it without worrying too much.
