Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. This is the first time I learned about this brewery at this event. It seems that Tochigi produces more shochu than sake. It was delicious, with a unique and robust sweetness, but I was attracted by the strawberry yeast 😅.

Purchased at Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. The rice is Nasuhikari grown by the company, and the sake is freshly brewed. It seems to have a strawberry flavor. The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. This was also purchased at Oka Sake Shoten, the same place as Unjaku. The aroma is mild but unique. The rice used is Omachi from Okayama Prefecture. It has a dark mouthfeel and a bit of maturity, but as the days go by, it becomes more rounded and changes to a level where even those who are not good at it can go. However, even though it has become more rounded and easier to drink, the sweetness and strength of the Omachi can still be clearly seen, so there will be different tastes. For me, it's a very interesting sake! The first day I opened the bottle, I thought it might be too peculiar to pair with a meal. However, from the second day onwards, while maintaining its richness, it gradually becomes lighter and lighter, and is not bad as a food sake. If you roll it around in your mouth, it is a nicely aged sake, but if you drink it with gusto, you can drink it without worrying too much. [I like it, ferry 😆 ] I've had a couple of sake from Watarifune so far, and they're usually good 😋, with a nice balance of umami and bitterness from the gentle sweetness. I think Naminoe is a rare brand that you don't see much in Tokyo. I bought it for the first time, and I got the impression that it is moderately sweet and refreshing. The aroma in the background is a fresh melon candy type. It is more suitable for simmered dishes than sashimi👍.
