I thought the jacket was not like Gekkeikan, but it was designed by students of Kyoto University of Arts.
Products made in collaboration with students are a good attempt to encourage young people to like sake in the future.
The aroma is weak, as is typical of honjozo.
Unfortunately, it was not very memorable.
The taste is clean or thin. When it is drunk with some air, its gorgeousness comes out strongly. However, the quality of the sake remains thin. If Yamada-Nishiki is used, it should have a little more flavor.
Average 30: 40 for flavor, 30 for aroma, 30 for body, 50 for appearance, and 20 for aftertaste.
The first taste is just alcoholic, more like fruit wine than brightness, too sweet but not fake, juicy and a bit like fruit wine, like dew on XX, which is what it used to be called. There's no body to it, it's just light. It has a strong tropical fruit flavor, so if that's what you're going for with your sake, go for it!
The second in the series of straw sakes for professional sake drinkers, it has a characteristic slightly pungent acidity and a clear yet full-bodied taste, perhaps due to its four-stage brewing process, but at 13°C it is not as easy to drink as water because of its acidity and full-bodied taste. It has a crisp aftertaste with a full-bodied rice flavor and richness, which is probably due to the use of Gekkeikan's original yeast.
A light bottle of Grui before going to bed.
A sparkling sake, Utakata, by Gekkeikan of Fushimi, Kyoto.
Purchased at a supercenter in Mino City.
It is a bottle of sake for a mealtime drink, but I tried it on its own.
The aroma is yogurt-like with a strong sourness.
The taste is a good match between the acidity and carbonation, which enhances the sweetness of the sake.
The fruity flavor is asserted, so it could be called a fruit cider.
This kind of cider is also interesting.
It is less sake-like, but I don't know if it's the sparkling sake or the improved technology, but the lack of sake that I felt in the normal version is diminished.
It was a year-end party at work.
I asked the waiter about the sake in the all-you-can-drink menu and he said it was Tsuki 🤔, but I've never had it before and I don't think I'll buy it myself, so I decided to try it.
If it wasn't all-you-can-drink, they usually have Kurehaaru and Akizuka...
Not too sweet, but not too pungent and easy to drink.
It doesn't have a big impact, but it's a well-balanced type, so it's really good during a meal...
I think it's better than Honmori or Koroshi.
We went to an izakaya with karaoke for the after-party, but I don't remember much 💦.
We stopped by Ikoma before the year-end party, but it was open on the way home, so we bought some sake and went home 🤣.
It was about 1am when I got home.
Year end party next week too 😇
As described, it has a thick mouthfeel. However, it is doubtful if it has fruitiness. There is no peachiness, a strong unpleasant alcohol taste after swallowing, and a bitter taste that interferes with the sweetness.
D-1.5
Third Fushimi purchase! A great value with a nice label. The clerk explained what I initially thought was "this one," saying, "This is a melon. The clerk explained, "This is a melon, and we also have peaches. I thought, "Well, I guess I'll have the peach," and bought this one.
I tried it and found it to be a peach. It was easy to drink. It's a juice. The time goes by while listening to Christmas songs and the Ninth Symphony. It's delicious.
Furthermore, drink Gekkeikan from Hyogo Prefecture.
Gekkeikan is one of Gekkeikan's particular selections.
Purchased at Aeon Liquor Shop in Kakamigahara City.
The aroma is a weak melon-type ginjo aroma.
The mouthfeel is full of umami and weak acidity. It has a moderate sweetness.
After all, Gekkeikan never fails to deliver.
Gorgeous aroma
Slight sweetness and sourness on the palate.
The aftertaste is slightly pungent but does not linger.
Alcohol content: 15-16%.
Sake level: Somewhat low
Acidity: Low
