Comparison of nigori sake (Wakayama's favorite nigori sake) Following Minakata, Chokyu ✌️ This is the fire-brewed version of the nigori sake we drank in February. I buy every bottle of Chokyu I see that I have never had before 😆. The first thing that surprised me when I drank it was that there was no fizziness at all 😲. The aroma is somewhat almond-like, and it's cloudy with a lot of orioles, so it's like diluted almond milk. But it also has a sourness to it, so I felt a bit unbalanced 🤔. I prefer nigori sake with a fizzy taste 😄.

Nigori Sake (Japanese rice wine) First time drinking Chokyu's nigori 😊. I always buy Chokyu when I see the new label ✌. The ori is quite a bit more and has a strong fizzy feel to it. It has a lot of umami and a hint of sweetness that is typical of Chokyu, and yet it has a clean dryness that makes it a dangerous sake that you can drink with gusto 🤭. The impression is quite similar to Hirotogawa's nigori👍 It goes well with western food, and the omelette was a nice match 😋.

[Summer sake is also berry good😂] The most memorable brand I drank last year, super kyu🥰. Don't miss out on getting a bottle of summer raw sake that's also bright! This one is a bit different from the matured Omachi sake I had last year, and I have the impression that it swings in a very sweet and juicy direction. The aroma is tropical 🥭 and the flavor is perfect, with a long, sharp finish and a hint of bitterness. The umami flavor is firm, so it is easy to match with Japanese fried food 👍. Chokyu seems to have a different direction for each label, but each one has its own characteristics and they are all delicious and addictive 😍.

I bought it because a liquor store in my neighborhood started handling Tajima. I was surprised at how fruity it was. It is fresh, moderately sweet, and delicious. It is a more modern sake than I expected. After drinking this after the first time, it feels more like a sake 🤔.

This sake was tasted at the Kobe Hankyu event and made a good impression, and was highly praised by Nemuchi-san. A liquor store in my neighborhood became a special distributor, but I was wondering why they didn't carry this sake. [I like it, ferry 😆 ] I've had a couple of sake from Watarifune so far, and they're usually good 😋, with a nice balance of umami and bitterness from the gentle sweetness. I think Naminoe is a rare brand that you don't see much in Tokyo. I bought it for the first time, and I got the impression that it is moderately sweet and refreshing. The aroma in the background is a fresh melon candy type. It is more suitable for simmered dishes than sashimi👍.

Drinking with my wife on our wedding anniversary last week, when we visited Tsushima Tsuru at the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing (laughs). Next up was a Hiyoroshi (Hiyori) Junmai Harazake by Drunken Sen. It's a refreshingly dry sake. The description says to enjoy the mellow flavor, but that's just my personal opinion... (^_^;) Good with sashimi! It was delicious! (^○^)

I tried three types of draft sake at a tasting and sale of Drunken Sen in Hankyu. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, the Honjozo Nama, even though I searched for it. Tasted and purchased at Umeda Hankyu. Sake from the Drunken Sake Brewery. It seems to be a terroir-like sake. It is delicious with a little bit of gasiness and both fruity and rice flavor. Once the gas disappears, the fruity taste disappears and the umami flavor takes center stage. I don't feel much spiciness. I wasn't sure whether to register it as Tagata, but the cap was Drunken Sen, so I registered it as Drunken Sen.

I have a new impression of Ehime sake 😁. I had never had much Ehime sake before, but I had an image of it being somewhat mellow and dry. This sake is completely different, it is light and slightly acidic, and together with the bitterness in the aftertaste, it is somehow like grapefruit 😊. It also has a bit of a fizzy feel and is very easy to drink as there is no unpleasant spiciness that lingers in the throat 😋. If it were a little more sour, I think I would find it too sour for me, but this level of sourness is just right 😄.
