First time drinking out in a while We started with Reijin 😆. It's called "Reijin Dry Goku" and it's as light and dry as you'd expect 🤗. As a lover of sweet and savory, I don't usually drink it, but it was perfect with the grilled meat I paired it with 🥰.

I used only ayu (sweetfish) for this dish. I also served bonito and Spanish mackerel tataki with a lot of myoga. It has a slightly high alcohol content and sweetness for a Niigata sake, so it went well with the ayu fish, bonito and Spanish mackerel. It was a good evening drink.

Not a Yotsuba, but I'm opening this bottle to pray for Japan's 🇯🇵 soccer team to win tonight✨ It has a sweetness that is typical of rice, lactic yogurt and acidity, and is delicious 🐴🐴🐴🐴, but it has a high alcohol spiciness on the back end that makes it very drinkable. The first bottle we opened at the beginning of the New Year was a bottle of "Fuku Chitose Namae Junmai Dry Taste" brewed with the prefecture's original sake rice "Sakahomare", which was grown in Fukui. This Sake is bright and slightly tart. There are flavors of apple and a hint of pear. A medium mouth feel with acidity to clean your pallet. Nicely refreshing.

Although the label is damaged, the Sake is a beautiful melon flavor with a hint of banana. There is also some acidity to give it some dryness at the finish. Good balance between sweet and dry with a medium mouth feel. Excellent!
