Takayuu Josen
Barley aroma. Tongue is shaking. Yogurt when mixed with air in the mouth. Bitterness. It has a strong taste.
Takayuu Special Honjozo (Sold out)
It is relatively clean and dry, but has a strong taste. The aroma of rice is soft.
Inabatsuru Junmai Daiginjo
Fruity flavor of daiginjo. It is the cleanest of the three, but still has a strong flavor.
Hiokizakura Junmai Hiyadoroshi Yamasofu
Strong flavor. Aroma of maturity. More acidic than the others. Probably tastes better when heated. It is a bit like chocolate when paired with tofu chikuwa. Richness.
The first day of our trip to the San-in region.
We compared 4 kinds of sake at a bar in front of Tottori station. Tottori sake is interesting.
The surume kouji is delicious.
Ori Hunter 4️⃣th bottle
This sake was given to me as a reward for volunteering during the fall Japanese sake festival 😀.
As an Orihunter, I always choose nigori-style sake when I get a reward for volunteering😇.
Of course, this is the first sake I've ever properly enjoyed at home 😀.
I carefully opened the bottle and succeeded in ingesting the mixture with the supernatant that was brought to room temperature 😀.
The aroma is of strawberries, as might have been induced by the appearance 🍓.
The room temperature supernatant was the rosé wine itself 😀.
The room temperature mixture was an elegant strawberry wine 😇.
Today's meal was the top three ingredients on TV yesterday that are effective against flu... I made a nabe with long green onions, maitake mushrooms, oysters and pork, which was not only healthy but also delicious and went well with alcohol 😇
Left. Full of acidity. Rice acidity, bitterness, and richness backed up by grape aroma. The distinctive hackberry aroma and dryness. Complex and strong impression.
The 25th Hankyu Brewery Festival [2nd half] 10
Takayuu's booth.
I've never really been into them, but I tasted a sample to see how it would be this time.
◉Junmai Ginjo Tsuyoroku
The spiciness of this sake is very sharp and solid, with a hard, yet intense mouthfeel.
Junmai Ginjo Nakadare
This sake was featured in the magazine "Mishinbo" about 27 years ago. It was unauthorized use, but the publicity was good. It has a mellow roundness and a tangy, spicy Tottori sake feel. It is also available on draft and is sold by a unique liquor store in Yatsuo.
◉Special Junmai
A very rounded, round and spicy sake. The sake has a firm umami, a light and refreshing taste, and a hard and refreshing texture.
Junmai Daiginjo Strong Aged
Aged to maturity, it has a firm but mineral hardness. The taste is firm, but has a minerality and hardness.
Junmai Daiginjo Takaha
A beautifully flavored 35% polished sake with a gorgeous taste.
Daiginjo-hikko-shu
We were told to drink all of the sake, which we gratefully did.
It is 10 years old and has been stored in a bottle, but there is no color on it at all. It has the feel of old sake wrapped in the freshness of new sake. There is a little bit of chocolate in the back. It has a very mild flavor and is delicious. This is the most sold sake this time.
Junmai Ginjo Sakura Saki
Sake made with Lacancea yeast isolated from Someiyoshino cherry trees. It has a white wine-like taste.
It made quite a good impression.
It was a gift. I was told it was recommended to be served cold, but it was also delicious warmed.
(But if I were to buy it myself, I honestly think the price would be too high.)

The 12th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower🍶.
⚫︎Takayuu
When you hear the word "extremely spicy", you don't have to be a master of spicy sake to be interested in it 🤗.
When I tried it, it was indeed very spicy 🥵.
It kind of makes my tongue tingle 💉.
It tries to cover it up with bitterness, but the tingling persists 💉.
⚫︎ Taido Kame no O Hiyoroshi
It is clean & clear with umami and bitterness.
There is a sense of being soaked through 🫠.
⚫︎Yamazakuromo
This is also dry and clear😙.
It has a slightly bitter taste.
⚫︎ Iori
It was described as a refreshingly fruity Yumachi, but it's hard to say if it can be called refreshing as it still has a slightly ricey 🌾 feel 🤔.
There is also a slight bitterness, so even though it is closer to fruity, it is a sensation that has not been swept away 🧐.
