We opened a bottle of Daikoku that we bought today at Kado-ya Sake Shop. It is said that this sake is brewed with 100% Yamada Nishiki harvested in a special area of Hyogo Prefecture. It's rich and dry. The rich taste in the mouth and the long lingering spiciness are exquisite. I think it's a very cost effective sake.

This was the first time I drank Daikoku Masamune at home. I bought it at the direct sales counter of the brewery. The aroma is mild, but the taste is fresh and fruity. It was really good even when it was heated. Visiting Ise with my wife's parents! (We just went there last October 😅) Geku shrine → Sarutahiko shrine → lunch at Ise Kaku Uchingu restaurant → around the inner shrine and back to the inn for my parents and to Ise Man for myself and my wife 😁. This time, due to the space in our fridge (and budget), we only tasted the raw sake! It was refreshing and delicious 😋😋😋.
