I like this sake. It is well blended and the flavours are well merged together. When pour into the glass, it does give you a sense of fruity and ingredient smell. Obviously the slight lactic acid, rice and umami feel is more important in this sake. It also gives you a round texture with slight hint of nutty feel. I also like the ending of this sake - without significant alcoholic feel which is very pleasant.

When you have ever drank the ่ข‹ๅŠ version of ็Ž‹็ฅฟ, you can never go back. While this version is still not bad, but it lacks the blended creaminess of that version, and a bit too mineral in feel. Need to pair with food to make it perform better.

Frankly I am a bit disappointed. It is just a bit funky and sweet like carbonic acid drink - but with not much a sake character that I would expect. It is more fruity sweetness like drinking soda - but lacking rice and ingredient complexity. Being so famous recently I would expect a bit moreโ€ฆ

It is good as usual, fresh and fruity smell and first palate, which is very easy to drink. I think comparing with other versions, I think this comes with slightly more bitterness and nutty feel.

Sweet and fruity style, one thatโ€™s easy to drink. Not a lot of complexity, but still can feel the umami from Omachi rice, so with slight bitterness at end. Easy and balanced anyway, so not bad.

My second time to drink this brand - still I think the wood smell and taste is too prominent. While it is clean and fruity style, it needs to be placed a while for the wood taste to blend into the sake, which makes me a bit confused.

Special sake that I got as a gift when visiting the shuzo. It is new year blended koshu released from the brewery every new year time. It blended the Daiginjo from year 1989, 2001 & 2013. Surprisingly, its still very light body - unlike other koshu which makes you too full. I like the aroma, while soy sauce and umami is significant, you can also feel the raisin, dried grapes inside. On palate it leans more towards coffee, toffee & dark chocolate. Serving hot is a good choice too.

I quite like this sake. Round and slight complexity. Aromatic in fruity style yet elegantly you could spot the cream and yogurt that blend great inside. Fresh and easy to drink with medium after taste.

Sweet and easy to drink. Elegant fruity on nose with sweet fruity taste in palate as well. Slight sourness which makes a good balance indeed.

This sake is nice to be drinking at room temperature or even in kansake form. Nice and elegant lactic acid feel with a sense of fresh cheese and yogurt. Smooth texture that blends quite well, can also feel the rice flavours inside with slightly nutty and umami ending. Good pairing with food indeed.

Very standard Zaku. If you like the aromatic type of sake, it will not disappoint you. Fruity melon and pineapple like on nose, sweet on palate with not much umami or else. Very easy to drink.

This is a more balanced version. Think it is a nice try though the sourness may not be for everyone. Think it is really traditional style which gives you a stronger flavour.

Must be very careful when opening this bottle! If you open it directly, for sure you will lose 1/3 of the bottle! It is an above average sparkling sake i would say, pleasantly refreshing with a bit of yeasty bread feel, fresh fruit sweetness as well. It ends with a bit of bitterness which is as expected and manageable.

I think it is quite a standard Niigata ๆทก้บ—่พ›ๅฃ style. Though when opening the bottle there is slight cooked banana smell, on nose the lactic acid & rice style is more prominent. On taste it does not give you anything fruity, instead it is rice, yogurt, cream and slight umami at the end. The alcoholic feel is also prominent. Quite crispy in general.
